Yeah, so about 14 years after Jadakiss's debut album, I found out that the production behind "We Gon Make It" was originally made for Ras Kass. Although I still prefer Jada's version, Ras Kass went in on this.
The Hip-Hop Thread
I also found out last year that the Renegade track on the Blueprint originally wasn't Jay-Z's, and that the original version had Royce Da 5'9" in it. However, that version was unreleased.
Aquaman VS JarJarBinks.
Wrong thread.
I definitely need to check out the Young OG Project. I'm listening to the Soul Tape 2 & 3 right now.

Young OG is dope.
In a rap battle.
Jarjar, Aquaman is too white to win.
Mactown represent. Billie Slum went off in this one. "This is Armageddon, cause when I hit ya it feel like God reached down and slapped u wit the arms of heaven!"
Joey Badass' album is gonna be bonkers.
Oh it was dope.
If You're Reading This It's Too Late.
What Do You Mean
@king_saturn: Drake's mixtape.

The Suicide note.
Ain't gonna lie though, that Dark Sky Paradise is fiya. Didn't expect that from Sean. You were on point.
Is Earl's album out yet? Its suppossed to come out today.
Also after listening to TPAB by K.DOT a few times, I can honestly say it measures up to G.K.M.C very well and even exceeds it in some areas. That interview with Pac at the end of Mortal Man was amazing and gave me mad feels. It might be as easy listening and as linear (G.K.M.C follows a clearer plot), but I prefer the instrumentals (it would be a fantastic instrumental only album TBH) and the lyrics are IMO deeper. 8.5-9/10 seems a fair score for me, where I usually think of G.K.M.C as being around 9, and 8-8.5 for Section 80 and O.D.
Real is still probably my favorite Kendrick Lamar song of all time, but holy sh!t some of the songs here push it close.

I'm listening to Earl's album now. It's basically an alternate version of Doris. Same vibe, Same type of beats. Earl is getting better lyrically and trying different flows but "I don't like Sh_t, I don't go Outside" isn't as huge a leap as Doris was from the Earl mixtape.
@vance_astro: It seems its out in U.S but not U.K. That's good to hear. I enjoyed Doris. Are there any cool features?
@nelomaxwell@dagmar_merrill I know you guys were f%cking with Forest Hills Drive so I thought you'd like to see the music video Cole dropped for GOMD. I think you'll enjoy it especially Nelo.

Not one. Track 9 features Na'kel Smith whose not really a rapper and his verse is better than most of what you might hear from Jasper the Dolphin but it's still wack in contrast to Earl. The song "Wool" with Vince Staples is dope as hell but Earl has mad songs with him though.
@laflux: @vance_astro: What's with dudes making suicide note album's. First drake now Earl.
@wolverine08: It was cool. I'm just tired of n!ggas being slaves.
@wolverine08: Thanks for the heads up. Not sure the video and sing go together but it still works.
Was disappointed with both Action Bronson's Mr. Wonderful and Earl's I don't like Sh*t, I don't go outside. The former was kind of boring and the best stuff was released prior the release of the album (Baby Blues and Actin' Crazy) and the latter was just something I couldn't get into honestly, not sure why.
Pretty excited for The Album About Nothing and Love Story at the moment.
I'm willing to say March 2014 was better than 2014 as a whole.

Probably coincidence.
@vance_astro: I hope so.

Drake's version I think was more of a warning and Earl's is more a statement about who he is.
You know I figured out something. People who dislike hip-hop are just haters, they're mad their music is irrelevant.
ready for Ludaversal
It's about time...
giggles... it's B. Hop Bunny
@king_saturn: What's hop doc?
I figured since I've seen alot of threads about hip-hop on these forums and some off-topic conversation about it in other threads..that we should have an official thread to discuss this genre of music.I'll start it off...
Did anyone like The Blueprint III?
No.
I am however enjoying the crap out of some old school Z-Ro.
Hip Hop is rap which is crap
see I have as much talent as the average rapper
Amusing how you think that rap consists of rhyming on a singular syllable basis. Congratulations on the low IQ.
