The Future

I was watching this video:

And was reminded of what a stupid society and world we live in. We are currently about 7 billion people on this planet, now how many of these people would you and me consider to be complete idiots? I'm gonna make a wild guess and say about 80%. Now I went in a public school in secular sweden, maybe I'm mistaken and people aren't as stupid as they appear to be.

Anyway I was thinking of the future and what the world will look like in a hundred years if we keep living like we do. Well if we keep in mind we are about 7 billion people on planet earth at this moment and then look back at how many people lived in the world 50 years ago. Two billion people lived on earth in the 1950s today we are almost 4 time as many. Now let's imagine that we make it 50 more years and the world isn't nuked by religious morons.

Then we will be 4 times as many again, that is 28 billion people. Now remember that it's often not the smart people that have many children, smart people sometimes doesn't have any children at all. It's often the religious that have tons of children. Of course there are smart religious people but there are also a lot of idiots that are religious. In order to not have this thread locked I'm not going to point towards any specific religion but paint them all with the same brush.

Since the religious have most children we can assume that about 90% of the 28 billion people on earth will be complete idiots. Now can anyone figure out why democracy doesn't work in this scenario? If 90% of the world are complete idiots then 90% of votes on any new law or idea within society will be idiotic. Right now we have tons of stupid rules within society and school is only one such place that is completely idiotic. The media will be idiotic, sports will be idiotic and ART will be idiotic.

Just look at our popular culture of today, superhero movie after superhero movie is coming out of holywood and people go watch them. I recently saw they were releasing a new movie adaption of snowhite and the seven dwarves, what a abomination of a trailer! Let's just agree that western culture has declined in class the last 50 years? Anyway if we keep going like this I doubt we will be building cities on the moon or on the water. We will probably be building fotball arenas and churches.

So what can we do to secure the human species future? How can we make sure our children will be living in a clean natural world devoid of stupidity. Well I have a few suggestions and would like to know what you think about these:

1. Cut of food supply to coutries. (Starvation is a great way to turn the sheep against eachother, it may be risky though)
2. Castrate murderers/rapists. (To prevent bad genes from spreading)
3. Redesign school system completely. (Most peaceful solution)
4. Replace democracy with anarchism. (Violent solution but might work, only the strong will rise above the sheep and a lot will die)
5. Turn off all electricity. (Without energy society will stop working and after just a few weeks fall apart)

I think in order to secure the human species survival we need to do something before it's too late. We need to somehow burn down the gigantic forest and grow a new one from it's ashes. Now here is my suggestion on the kind of society we could live in:

• A society in which mating of people aren't left to chance. Selective breeding...
• A school system that has no breaks and that consists of 50% physical training as mental training.
• A school where meditation has a much bigger role. (4 hours meditation)
• A school where sex is practised between random people under "controlled" conditions.
• A student should have one specialisation since early age within the school system.
• Unhealthy food should not be allowed to bought in stores.
• 2 billion people should be max population on earth.
• 2 children per family.
• Pop, rock, punk, rap and crap should be banned replaced with classical and folk music.
• Video games where you kill should not be allowed to be made.
• Sports should be pracised only NOT watched.
• Fashion should be banned.
• Monk like clothes only.
• Ugly architecture should be torn down.
• Cars and all sort of fast transportation should be banned except airplanes.
• If you want to travel somewhere do it by foot.
• People who murders rapes or commits harsh crimes should be castrated and placed in zooz not prisons.
• Animals should be killed quickly and out in the wild. Quick and painless death.
• Democracy should be replaced with a faster method...where the wisest greatest intellectuals will be put in power with or without majority vote.
• Floating cities should be created.
• Solar power should replace all other sort of energies.

I could go on and on what would make this society better, now let's see if the comic book fans agree with me or not. Btw I have seen some hardcore comic book fans here that almost could be called religious. So I'm sure a lot of you will disagree with me...

Edit: Read more of the details. This isn't the recipe for a dystopia, it's one for disaster. Depriving the human race of choice is not the way to go. Also, I'm pretty sure the mods don't care if you give up on the human race or not.

Depriving humans of choice needs to be done in order to secure the future of our children. 50 years 28 billion people...if we keep on going where do you think we will end up? Better reshape society before we come to that point...but oh right my suggestion is catastrophic because humans have no choice...

You may not agree with it but in the next sentence you say that all people who practice religion are complete idiots. You may not agree with religion but I know many people who practice a variety of religions who are far smarter than you. Just saying.

Older and more experienced perhaps not necessarly smarter...also I decided to paint all religious people under one brush. I'm not going to point out any specific religions since I don't want to get a locked topic. But I'm a great admirerer of Dalai Lama. I know there are smart people and "smart" religions...but most religious people and religions are stupid.

This is a disgustingly offensive and flawed "solution" to humanity's issues. I find a great deal of irony in you saying murders should be castrated, then essentially support killing and murder with the other rules. I'm grateful this "ideas" will never go anywhere beyond your OP.

@Hermoor: First and foremost, you've also eliminated the factor advances in technology as society grows. That's quite the big factor seeing as advances in medicine and the food industry could make major leaps in quality of life Then, there's the obvious about how there are ridiculously stupid ideas like trying to dictate music, clothing, and architecture. And that's not even scratching the surface, seeing as the other ideas dive even deeper into absurdity.

The topic of how humanity can face issues of overpopulation and dwindling resources is indeed an interesting one, but only when treated seriously. This is a dark, stupid, and twisted "what if?" take on it.

@Hermoor: Also, there's really no need for any of us to dissuade you from your ideas, since you're too inconsequential to do anything about them at any rate.

No, it does not. Depriving us of choice would deprive our children of choice. Honestly, humanity is going to self-destruct one way or the either, your method just makes it worse and/or quicker. Taking away choice will make humans more likely to rebel against the world order(come to think of it, it seems like you're advocating NWO.. not quite sure though), which would make any change your 'methods' have created now moot, as humanity would be fighting a civil war with itself that would potentially lead to its destruction. That's why depriving humanity of choice is disastrous.

Right but once again, we may developed great technology that can make it possible for us to create arifical food and cure cancer and whatnot. But that same technology could be used for destructive purposes. As long as humans are brought up in a stupid society our society won't be able to sustain it's "quality of life". This society needs to be reformed, I mean look around you. Maybe even look at yourself in the mirror, you think you look like the man below. You think you are in his state of mind? You think your nabors are in his state of mind? Most people aren't like him or like the Dalai Lama...

Imagine when we are 28 billion people on earth now pair them up with husband and wife. That is 14 billion families, are you sure your food and medicine technology will make it possible for those 14 billion families to live in peace and not nuke eachother? Will they all have food and water and good education etc etc?

This is only to solve social issues, pop and rap music does not contribute to healthy young minds. And the architecture of some schools makes people want to kill themself. In fact walking down a street in about any western suburb a gloomy autuum afternoon with brick houses and smoke and cars and it's wet and nasty...our architecture and our cars and how our society looks is a big issue. Everyone would love to live in a elven city from lord of the rings I'm sure. Bad architecture and art we need to get rid of.

It may be a dark and sad truth we have to face, but it's either facing that truth or doom our species to extinction. Just because it's dark doesn't mean it's an option that has to be taken off the table. Solving this peacefully would take much longer time and have a higher risk of failure and would probably take a lot of lives also. Basically one would have to convince every western country in the world to only have one child per family. Forced castration of criminals among other things. I'm sure people would disagree with these things if they would vote on it publically...

The sad thing is you treat this as if anyone can have the answer. Do you have any idea what kind of technology we'll have by that point? Do you have any idea if we'll still be stuck on this planet at this point? You don't. And the dark part isn't regarding harsh truths about humanity, but your unrealistic solutions to the problems (and quite a few contradict each other). I'm going to stop wasting my time with this now.

Disease and starvation will limit the population, or there could be a nuclear war/asteroid hit.
