@punyparker: i only saw the highlights of the Barcelona last game but in my opinion Barcelona is not playing in a level above Bayern, both teams are way down from the levels shown in recent glory years, i think Barcelona have more potential to improve because the manager is new and it's hard to build a balanced team with so many superstars, Guardiola is a miss fit in the German football but i will always support the "The Bavarians", the champions league is a tricky competition R. Madrid wasn't playing very well in the beginning of last season (this year is worst), but in the end with all that talent manage to win the 10 champions, so we have to see what will happen in the future ,but at the present it's clear to me that Barcelona and Bayern have the potential to win the champions but they are playing a bad football.

Xavi Hernandez: Paul Scholes is a role model. For me – and I really mean this – he's the best central midfielder I've seen in the last 15, 20 years. I've spoken to Xabi Alonso about him. He's spectacular, he has it all: the last pass, goals, he's strong, he doesn't lose the ball, vision. If he'd been Spanish he might have been rated more highly. Players love him.

Scholes: Dont compare me to the likes of him

I'm biased,you know that,Xavi's my favorite player,but......did Scholes mean that as a bad thing?.......if so,it's really ugly of him to say....

@experio: Xavi won everything that a football player can win, National team and Barcelona he never was the decisive player but a very important element in his dream teams, Scholes was the heart of the Man United Alex Ferguson best teams also a winner in the club, and an example to follow.

I identify myself more with Scholes, sometimes Xavi likes to enter in inappropriate exchange of words with other players and managers.

In the end both were great.

Bayern from past 5 years are like Man U from 2008, both won one champions league but lost twice in the final.

Only difference we got defeated by Guardiola's Barcelona and their tiki taka, which were a much harder team and arguably the greatest starting from the year 2000. Much different from the Barca that Bayern played against in 2013.
