Did you know that the father of 41st U.S. President George H.W. Bush, and grandfather of 43rd U.S. President George W. Bush, ran a bank and other Manhattan-based organizations that were actually front organizations for the Nazis? His name was P. Bush.

Major companies like Coca-Cola and Ford also did business with the Nazis. I'm not surprised though, and doing business with both sides is common practice if there's money to be made.

Yes, Fanta was a direct result of Coa-Cola doing business with Nazi Germany.

Fanta originated as a result of difficulties importing Coca-Cola syrup into Nazi Germany during World War II due to a trade embargo. To circumvent this, Max Keith, the head of Coca-Cola Deutschland (Coca-Cola GmbH) during the Second World War, decided to create a new product for the German market, using only ingredients available in Germany at the time, including whey and pomace – the "leftovers of leftovers", as Keith later recalled. The name was the result of a brief brainstorming session, which started with Keith's exhorting his team to "use their imagination" (Fantasie in German), to which one of his salesmen, Joe Knipp, immediately retorted "Fanta!"

The Bush's who were in power were bad, i never assumed we needed the connection in order to make them look bad.

@rouflex: Alleging the Bush's in power are bad is reasonable, so long as such morality is linked to their current or previous action. Shaming them for being related to bad people is just petty.

Plenty of old rich families were supporters of the Nazis and or serious anti-semites/racists. Eugenics was an extremely popular philosophy in the early 20th century and hating on the jews was an extremly popular hobby.

The modern Bushs are asshats on their own, they really don't need any help with that.
