Easter Eggs.
I love watching Superhero movies for plenty of reasons but the main one is Easter Eggs. When i notice one I feel nothing but awesome!

The correct answer is Christoper Nolan.

It's appearing to be Joss Whedon now, considering the amazing reviews and surprisingly high amount of praise the Avengers is receiving.
Nolan is not as great as he projects himself. He turned Batman into... well, not Batman. The best thing to happen in Superhero cinema is balance plain and simple. You can't warp Batman or the Avengers or Superman into something that they aren't. Just because you have a guy running around in a metal Bat-Costume doesn't make him Batman. The Dark Knight Returns was a great film, but a horrible Batman film. I'd say the scale is pretty simple. TDKR is at the very top of the scale. Action packed, great characters, amazing CGI, but horrible dialogue and a horrible take on Batman in general. Then at the bottom of the scale you have Batman and Robin. Super cheezy, horrible one-liners and puns, nipple suits, and too comicy for comic book fans and movie goers alike, but in a way it stood true to Batman and his villains. The trick is to find balance. I'd say the closest superhero film I've seen that comes close to this balance is probably Burton's Batman Returns. The Avengers also looks very promising.
Sam Raimi's Spider-Man. The first one. I think that's what truly started the superhero movie boom of the 2000's. It had just the right tone for kids to enjoy, but involved enough to keep adults and critics invested. I feel that it was very appealing to everyone, not just fans.
That's good question and I'll let you finish but 90's Captain America movie is the best superhero movie of all time, OF ALL TIME!
Marvel Films starting from Spider-Man 1&2
Showed that superhero movies didn't have to be about flashy costumes and 283917239874938 one-liners it could be a fun yet serious plot driven story can appeal to everyone and slight but understandable changes to appeal to the masses (Instead of web shooters we had them shooting out the wrists)

BBAnd, by extension, the answer is Batman.
I thought we were talking about the best thing. Not one of the worst things.
Your opinion is now invalid.
Forever.

As long as everyone elses opinion is invalid then that would make sense.

Batman '89 and to lesser extent Blade had already done that?
