The Australia thread!

Since I so far haven't encountered any other Australians on CV since I joined, I thought I'd try to unite them all here. Or Americans can come here to talk about Australia or ask Australians questions, whatever, just as long as as its Australia-related!

As a New Zealander, we both love and hate Aussies.

Can everything in this thread kill me?

I cannot understand australians when they talk.

Australian accents really hurt my ears. Never going back to melbourne. Its like going to a mental institution and everyone is drunk and has a speech defect.

At least have the decency to speak english with the respect the language deserves

As an Australian some of the comments are interesting to read.

Why are Australians so nice? Every one of them that I've met have been super nice.

As someone who really would like to go to Australia someday, what're some of the funnest things to do there?

Explore the outback, enjoy fine dining, swim in the Great Barrier Reef, enjoy some of our theme parks, go to Bondi Beach because there are a ton of honey's and you might be on TV.

Also, you might want to pick the weather properly, because in winter its extremely cold and in summer is scorching hot :D
