I want Phoenix, Dallas, Magic or Lakers to win in that order. I want Nash, Amare, Kidd, VC to get a ring before they retire. I don't want Spurs to win. Lebron has enough time to win a ring, I don't want Cavs to win it.

I absolutely hate the Cavs.The Lakers are my team but I would like to see Atlanta or Orlando take the conference and the finals.

@Vance Astro:  Oh cool, as for the first round, I see:

WC
Lakers beating Thunder (Kevin Durant might go off though, so I don't know about this 100%)
Phoenix beating Portland.
Denver vs Utah should be a good series, I see Denver taking it in game 6.
Dallas vs Spurs should be a close one as well, rivalry here. I see Dallas pulling through in game 7.

EC
Cavaliers sweep Bulls or bulls win one game.
Boston beats Miami in game 5.
Atlanta beats Milwaukee in game 5.
Orlando sweep Charlotte.

The Lakers have played terrible against the Thunder in the regular season.It would be a shame if they got upset.

Yeah but all that is moot now. His defense is always solid and thats why in the Playoffs the Lakers are gonna be tough.
#15 Posted by Sexy Merc (42076 posts) - - Show Bio

Ron Artest is a great defensive player, but I think Kevin Durant is going to food him in the playoffs.

I just want to Cavs out.I don't care is Milwaukee wins as long as the Cavs don't.

I'm hoping he shows that in the playoffs because he gets alot of props for his defense but there's been games where he seemed to just be out there hackin.

@Vance Astro:
oh sorry about the misunderstanding
i don't know if the blazers can handle the transition game of the suns, i think Nash is playing some of his best games right now and Amare is finally healthy again so i think as long as they stay healthy and the rest of the supporting cast do their part (they don't have to do anything spectacular imo but rather just stay consistent on their part) i really don't see any problem here imo, my only concern for them is the lakers

The Suns are so inconsistent.Even with their best line-up they barely beat the horrible Lakers in the playoffs.Remember that? When the Lakers had Smush Parker,Kwame Brown and all of those other terrible players that are either on their bench now or in the D-league?

@Vance Astro:
if you are referring to the playoff games couple of yrs ago than yeah cause the team was going thru injury and because of it they also had identity issues, but it's different now, they are healthy and can run, i don't think there is a better transition team than the suns now besides perhaps Cavaliers

They are even worse off now.They lost The Matrix,Nash is old (he had an MVP season that year),they can run but they don't have the superstar level starting five they once had.

@Vance Astro:
it doesn't take 5 superstars but rather 5 players that have a common goal and objective as well as synchronized communication when playing and they do have that right now imo
Nash is having again one of his best season this year, he has made virtually everyone on his team better in both offensive aspects as well as basketball IQ, i ain't so big on the matrix, he really didn't do sh!t for the raptors during his quick debut and quite frankly his prime has already gone as well

How do you figure? Who has an answer for the storm of 3's that they are going to drop or for Dwight. The Cavs made all those moves because of the Magic and still with Shaq and Jamison I don't think they can get it done

You can win a series by living by the three, but you're not going to win a title with that philosophy. It didn't work for the 06 Suns and its not gonna work for the Magic. Dwights the man, but foul trouble and lack of an all around offensive game leave him....limited at best. I dont care about the Cavs, the East is weak anyways. The Nuggets, Lakers, Mavs, Spurs, Suns......all have the makings to take out the Magic.

I think a healthy Nuggets team can take out the Magic and a Lakers team in their right mindset. Everyone else i can agree with except the Suns IMO.

hahaha come on dude, compared to the West its common knowledge that the East is JV. The Magic, who are the 2nd seed in the East, are only 9 games better then the 6th seeded Blazers out of the West. They only have 1 more win on the road then the Blazers do. I'm not trying to hate on the East or the Magic, its just the lower seeds in the West are all close to, if not as, dangerous as the top teams in the East. (5)Utah, (7)San Antonio and (4)Denver would all be serious threats to (1)Cavs, (2)Magic, and (3)Hawks.

Not to mention shooting his best percentage from 3-point territory for his career this season.
