Tekken is better because it has better and more diverse character designs and I like the movesets better.

moveset is A LOT better in Tekken..... but it's weird cause the guys in TEKKEN are better, but the girls are better Dead or Alive........

DoA is very close I love the freestyle gameplay and the balance.

Actually I like Tekken's girls better.They look more like the race they are supposed to be.Tekken's character models put alot of details into faces.I think if DOA did better with that and had more diversity as far as fighting styles..it could be better than Tekken.

Street Fighter owns the fighting genre and always has...you can clearly see KOF stole most of it's ideas from Capcom and that's why they made Dan Hibiki as a parody of Ryo and Robert.Virtua Fighter was the first 3-D fighter so without that...where the hell would Tekken have come from...the game mechanics were identical.

DOA ran on the same engine as Virtua Fighter, so if any franchise "made" it, it'd be VF.

That being said, SF has and probably always will own the fighting genre.

guess, I'm the only one that i pick DoA, since the more fast passe, sad that there will be no more sequel.

yep DoA girl (or doll since well look at there skin all super shine and all) better that must guy, let not forget that the super ninja Ryo Hayabusa is in the game.
Oh and tekken is all so good, i got pretty good with Lilly in Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection.

I like DOA easily one of the best fighting franchises of all time, but I havent played tekken in a while. I always though DOA had the most interative environments and that made it the best.

the acting was overall good (CHRISTIE and TINA were AWESOME, but HELENA and KASUMI'S ACTRESSES COULD'VE BEEN SOO MUCH BETTER!!!)

the fighting stared out bad but got A LOT better by the end

Seriously, I find DOA more dynamics and speedy when it comes to fight, but this is true that Tekken is more detailed in graphics and te caracters are more varied.

Really? Well according to my DOA 4 sitting the to right of me, the only way to play is to smash down on the buttons. Seriously, it's the only major fighting game where #1 you're expected to know what's going on & #2 when you input either combos or specialty moves, they don't work.

I've done it, and I've won a decent amount. I hate DOA.... I had to change my response a little... my hangover is making me a little too sassy

I'm not too fund of fighting games in general (I tend to find them incredibely frustrating at times). But if I had to choose I would choose Tekken (much more awesome and has a better story).
