Always been a fan of the Ninja Turtles since the early 90's movies were released, but this movie was by far my favorite. Love how they brought back the old and mixed it in with the new; like the turtle's looks and Shredder's badass armory for example. And love Megan Fox and the other actors in this movie. They played their parts perfectly. Just wished Casey Jones made an appearance! Hopefully in the sequel (if Michael Bay makes one) they'll shine some lime light on him. Michael Bay, I applaud you. Good work with movie. My pick for Movie of the Year for sure. #90sKid
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2014: Movie of the Year
@darling_luna: @thevivas: We all have our opinions. I'm just a really big fan of the movies. Especially the way Michael Bay directed this one. Action-packed with a great storyline.
@raw_material: Bay only produced the movie
@icecold14: *epic high fives with the power of a thousand suns*
I'm pretty sure the award should go to Guardians of the Galaxy or Days of Future Past.
@symbioticspider-man: You know what your talking about :D high five!
These are films which were released in 2014 of a much higher quality:
- Boyhood
- Birdman
- Selma
- The Theory of Everything
- America Sniper
- Gone Girl
And the possibles:
- Dawn of The Planet of The Apes
- Interstellar
@frozen: I haven't watched those, lol!
I've been thinking of watching Birdman, but I don'ts know if I should.
@symbioticspider-man: I recommend it. Birdman is just awesome --- Keaton deserves the Oscar.
@logy5000: No it wasn't your only saying that cause you probably seen someone point out the flaws.
@dajhonmccloud: I watched the movie in theaters. The acting was bad, the story was full of holes, the characters were inconsistent, and the action was backed up by almost no plot.

I thought bay did not direct it? Only produced?
That's because they butchered and chopped the script to pieces and then tried to put it back together lol. Like stacks was supposed to be shredder, then they realized how wrong that was and tried to write him off as the secondary villain, so now we have shredder who just lives in the basement, written in last min, and pre production images as stacks bio calling him shredder. Which is why splinter "knows" who shredder is even though he shouldn't, they forgot to edit that detail.
I did like the turtles personalities though.

Sorry that's what I kinda meant. Liked the way he produced the movie and worked his magic with the effects that made this helluva good movie IMO
@darling_luna: Hell yeah. *fist bump*
