TEAM SEVENs

So I wake up this morning to find out the information on a few of the new titles that will be rolling out with the New 52's number 0's in September. I was really excited to read that DC is throwing Team 7 into the mix of this new universe. However, I knew right away once Wildstorm characters began to get thrown into the fray, there would be some changes to certain characters and teams. I am a huge fan of the old WIldstorm universe. So in saying that, I don't really understand having Amanda Waller or Black Canary(DInah Lance) on the team. Lance is a little more understandable. But with Deathblow and others showing up in Grifter, why not have a few more of the original members in the book?

These are all my initial thoughts on seeing the cover and reading the description on DC's blog.

the old Team 7 mini's are great reads...if someone hasn't read them then I highly suggest that you pick them up...that being said...I'm more than willing to give this new incarnation a try

Definitely going to pick this up seeing as Justin Jordan is writing it.

If it makes you feel better...I read a commentary about there being more than 7 members of Team 7, so the old gang may still be intact just at different levels...here's hoping

And as far as Amanda Waller is concerned, I think she makes perfect sense given her personality and methods...well at least now that she has the Halle Berry build and not the more "plump" appearance she had in the DCoU

I was wondering if you saw the Preview for Issue 0 and Project Majestic? I wonder where this will take us? I hope that we get something new and interesting on Team 7 that will make this title last.
