If you could say one sentence to your 15 year old self, what would it be? I'm 19 now and I would've said some things. What about you, viners?

15 was an interesting year for me. Had some good times, but certainly some bad ones as well. High school was beyond horrendous and am I ever glad I never have to go there again. I've changed one hell of a lot since I was 15, but it really just feels like yesterday. I would probably tell my 15 year old self not to be so hard on yourself; the world doesn't revolve around the people who put you down. I would also say that whatever you think about the World, no matter how ugly you see it as, it isn't as bad as you think. There are great, friendly people out there who are waiting for you to be their friend, and don't even give anyone who puts you down a second thought.

It's comforting to know that all of my high school nemesis's work menial jobs like Gas Station attendance and low level construction workers. None of them have a prosperous future whatsoever.

@cf12793: I had confidence issues too, now I see that there are people out there who share my interests. People who make fun of me for it are fighting a losing battle. Its like walking into comic con yelling NERDS! I like your story. Any more guys?

Take your training in football and track and field more serious. When i was in sports in high school i goofed around way too much with my other friends who were on the teams. I felt that if i had taken a more serious approach to my training i would have been able to accomplish more things in sports.

I'd give him a list of numbers, names and useful facts. My younger self would understand perfectly. 11 years later I would be a millionaire

I'd tell my younger self what I learned the mere seven years since I'd been 15 so I'd be able to get the benefits of that learning sooner.

Don't start anything with that girl who killed a part of you.

Also, here's a list of things to invest in and places to avoid being at certain times.

Take that keyboard more seriously. And don't buy that game in December. And eight years from now, there's going to be a comic-con in Rhode Island. Remember to tell that girl in the Black Canary costume your name.

No matter what, forget that redhead girl from your class. She will never return your feelings and neither she will consider you a friend.

@saint_rog_el: not sure if serious? Invincible, walking dead, saga, all "those" titles. Issue ones alone are like hundreds of dollars.

Tell myself to be confident, tougher and to go for what I wanted. Also not to spend so long pining after the girl who only wanted me around for the attention. Also to keep taking piano lessons and try harder in school.

Trick my past self into getting locked up in a cage filled with novels and a typewriter, ink, and paper, or a computer. If such a place exist.

And, lottery numbers.

porn is awesome, discover it sooner?

Gotta go with the lottery numbers as well. The difficulty would be in convincing my younger self to go with it, and then him getting my parents to go for it.

Though since I'd be set for life and never have to work, I'd probably be condemned to a lonely life since I'd never leave the house for any social activity, such as one might find in a workplace.

...

"You are going to make some pretty big mistakes in the future. You are going to miss out on some pretty good opportunities as well. You're going to be down deep in some pretty dark holes, but I don't want you there. This time, I don't want to be down there and only looking at the bottom. Here is what you can try to fix, here is what you can try to differently, and here is also what you should do and keep on doing, because while you managed to mess up pretty bad from time to time, you also manage to get into some pretty nice places down the road. Turn your attention more on God and stop thinking about yourself so much. Tell everyone that you love them, and don't you dare take any of what you have for granted. I might just have to slug you if you do."

#40 Posted by TheAcidSkull (18032 posts) - - Show Bio

@fallschirmjager: errrr...nooo...

if anything I should tell him to watch less of it.

I would tell him that the British taxes lead to war, side with George Washington on that one....What I'm much older than you think!

Tell him to make some different choices, and that it would be better in the future if I made those decisions instead.

I wouldn't listen, though. I was (and still am) a very stubborn person.
