If you could say one sentence to your 15 year old self, what would it be? I'm 19 now and I would've said some things. What about you, viners?
15 was an interesting year for me. Had some good times, but certainly some bad ones as well. High school was beyond horrendous and am I ever glad I never have to go there again. I've changed one hell of a lot since I was 15, but it really just feels like yesterday. I would probably tell my 15 year old self not to be so hard on yourself; the world doesn't revolve around the people who put you down. I would also say that whatever you think about the World, no matter how ugly you see it as, it isn't as bad as you think. There are great, friendly people out there who are waiting for you to be their friend, and don't even give anyone who puts you down a second thought.
It's comforting to know that all of my high school nemesis's work menial jobs like Gas Station attendance and low level construction workers. None of them have a prosperous future whatsoever.
Take your training in football and track and field more serious. When i was in sports in high school i goofed around way too much with my other friends who were on the teams. I felt that if i had taken a more serious approach to my training i would have been able to accomplish more things in sports.
The winning lottery numbers.
The only right answer.
Id tell myself to buy comics that grew in value
Which comic has grown in value in the last 20 years? The only one I an think of is Death of Superman.
Gotta go with the lottery numbers as well. The difficulty would be in convincing my younger self to go with it, and then him getting my parents to go for it.
Though since I'd be set for life and never have to work, I'd probably be condemned to a lonely life since I'd never leave the house for any social activity, such as one might find in a workplace.
"You are going to make some pretty big mistakes in the future. You are going to miss out on some pretty good opportunities as well. You're going to be down deep in some pretty dark holes, but I don't want you there. This time, I don't want to be down there and only looking at the bottom. Here is what you can try to fix, here is what you can try to differently, and here is also what you should do and keep on doing, because while you managed to mess up pretty bad from time to time, you also manage to get into some pretty nice places down the road. Turn your attention more on God and stop thinking about yourself so much. Tell everyone that you love them, and don't you dare take any of what you have for granted. I might just have to slug you if you do."
