Superman is kinda boring. DC > Marvel in terms of gaming all because of one game. DC > Marvel in terms of movies all because of one movie. Guy Gardner is the worst Green Lantern. The only good thing about Secret Invasion was SI: Inhumans, which really didn't have much to do with SI. The only good Front Line limited series was the one during Civil War. Every series after that sucked. Annihilation was the last good event Marvel has put out. V for Vendetta (the movie) completely and utterly sucked. Watchmen (the movie) isn't that bad if you watch the Ultimate Cut. The appearance of Asgard in Thor was horrendous. The entire Star Wars: the Force Unleashed saga is overrated. Family Guy / American Dad / South Park are not funny, save for the extremely rare clip that can be found on Youtube. Grand Morrison should be given the chance to spearhead a project for each major character (like he did with Batman and the New X-Men sagas) and give them an overhaul (not too unpopular, actually) Flashpoint > Fear Itself Mirror's Edge is good. PS3 > 360 Criminal Minds is the only unique crime drama on television.

I don't know if this is unpopular or not but I might as well admit I have a funny little crush on Tracie Harris. I think it has something to do with the intelligence and wit behind her comments. The funny mannerisms, friendliness and smile doesn't hurt either. The face of awesome.

Well, living in the bible belt I see this all the time. I got accused of being an amoral atheist scum bag because I have confidence in gravity and other physics' ideas. I think the conversation went like this. "You better thank God that didn't end up over here." "Thank you gravity." *long pause* "You're such an atheist! Ugh, you're so an atheist! Why don't you kill yourself right now?! What's the point?!" I went on trying to explain that one could very well "believe" in physics and other sciences and still believe in a God but they weren't hearing that. I got a "You can say what you want with all these little facts, theories and logics but at the end of the day Jesus is Lord. When I die I'll be in heaven and you'll be in the ground." Yeah, I know it's hard to see the light at the end of tunnel for some people. People in these neighborhoods live pay check to pay check but they can still make small efforts to get things moving in the right direction. They just refuse to make an effort. They see what's accepted, they see the "tradition" in it all. When they drift away from that then they may feel alienated or what have you. If only they could get over their apprehension for something new and constructive. That sucks about Camden but what do people really expect out of them? North Carolina's education has just recently been cut to record lows. The standards were already low. The way I see it we'll have more kids graduating. It reflects better on the school, the teachers and the kids get to pass. Sure, the IQ of the country slips a few points, we keep falling behind other countries and we get to reinforce a blissfully ignorant view of the world. The whole second half of that reply I agree with completely. The killings and violent crime have lulled a bit in recent years but robbery and drug trafficking seems to have picked up. They get locked up for a while then it's back to the block.
