@The Dark Huntress: He just is. That whole "I use to be an educated atheist" stunt was a bunch of bull. A clever ploy to lend credibility to his cause. He distorts scientific information, along with his side kick banana man, to try to prove their faulty logic. He uses a bunch of logical fallacies, seemingly on purpose. These guys have debates semi-regularly, there is little doubt in my mind that they wouldn't have picked up some of the most basic information about the thing they're fighting against. They could have done some research on their own but I doubt they really have. They always present half truths in debates and videos on purpose. I think Ray seems to be a genuinely nice guy just mislead. Though some of his tactics to proselytize are less than admirable I think he does make an effort (no matter how fruitless) to learn. I have a good understanding of the mind set of these people. They have a choice now but they choose not to exercise it. They're stuck in the same repetitive cycle, that they're originators had no choice in being thrust into. I know circumstance forces people into bad situation. They have to do what they have to do to survive but that doesn't stop them from trying to better themselves with things like education instead of wasting time and money on frivolous bull. I know people who blow hundreds on weed and other drugs on a regular basis. They piss away time doing nothing constructive. They're fighting, stabbing and shooting people who's only difference is they live in a different part of the city than you do. I've seen people get stabbed over something as stupid as scuffing a shoe. When did a shoe deserve so much respect? He did this and you slit his throat and stab him in the chest? Really? Really...? Some of this stuff has no excuse for it. With the resources of today change is possible only if they adjust their mind set. That's not happening. I hate that television stations and other form of media has taken this image of African Americans and run with it. Exploiting this stupid lack of culture for profit. Making us look like uneducated monkeys in the process. Way to go.

The school system in my town sucks and I live in the suburbs so I no better than to think that people have a choice in a lower income neighborhood of whether they want to get a proper education or not, some make it out and alot don't, that's just what it is..The closest neighborhood like that near where I live is Camden,New Jersey where they have graduating classes who's #'s are in the teens at times and you can forget it with SAT's..they ain't going to college (I know because I know people who have worked in Camden Schools).This stereotypical image of black people is a reality for some and it somehow became cool to be that way and it's not just other African American's who ran with it because other races try and imitate those mannerisms and live that type of lifestyle too.It's edgy.It's a life that most people don't know and they are fascinated with it.The stuff you describe with the weed and the killing in the stabbing.That's all part of the environment.If that's what people see all the time...it's very possible they may imitate it.It's what's expected.
