Stairway to Heaven vs Bohemian Rhapsody
Damnit. I fail. I blame too much greatness in one thread to distract me and cause typos.
I'm glad you put that last option in there.
I considered making it the only option.
Both suck.
Thanks for letting us know you have terrible taste in music. We will ignore your opinions going forward.
@fallschirmjager: these are quite possibly the worst two songs that have ever scraped against my eardrums.

.................
Bohemian Rhapsody, no question.
I had never heard of either until now, but I prefer Stairway to Heaven upon listening to both.
*sigh*
Gonna be perfectly honest, and this is just my opinion, but I don't really like either that much. However, to answer the question, I prefer Bohemian Rhapsody. Always liked my 80's music to have a bit more "oomph!" to it though.
@the_stegman: ....Stairway is 71 and Bohemian is 75
From my personal experience, after spending hours learning to play Stairway on guitar, I kinda got tired of it (cause of hours and hours of practice.) Fortunately I never decided to learn Bohemian Rhapsody so it's more listenable now. Of cource when I first heard these songs (especially Stairway) I thought they were the coolest ever. Anyway, if I had to choose between the 2 I'd say Stairway because of the beautiful lyrics and melody but IMO I think the most epic song of all time is Painkiller by Judas Priest :D

Eh, then scratch out the "80's" part and just leave "music".
@wolverine08: That was the most depressing thing I've ever read from you.
OP: Bohemian Rhapsody. Mercury's 'stache solos the omniverse. But yeah, I think it's a slightly better song.
@jaken7: I actually like it a bit better too, I just refuse to choose because I don't have too.
Both should be listened to in copius amounts until your ears bleed.
@blade_r: Hell yeah! Preach!

@wolverine08: I demand you take out that terrible song out of this thread.

That's not rap, that's garbage.
And I actually have a few selective rap songs I like. I just find most of it garbage.

What kind of rap have you listened to?
@wolverine08: I find almost everything post 2000 utter crap.
I like old stuff like Tupac and Scarface.
this guy is my favorite though. his lyrics are the shit.
Torcher 1 and Torcher 2 are also brilliant. And Highschool Girls is awesome too.
Still tainting the thread though. Stairway and Bohemian are basically the two greatest songs of all time.
I find almost everything post 2000 utter crap.
I can somewhat agree with that, though there are rap artists like Eminem have managed to make quality rap music post 2000.
I'd recommend early stuff from Nas, The Wu Tang Clan and their various stuff from their solos, Jay Z, Punisher, Eric B. and Rakim, DMX, Biggie Smalls, Dr. Dre, and Snoop Dogg if you want to listen to some rap from the 90's that's really good.

Nope...Sir Mix A Lot doesn't deserve to be anywhere near the vicinity of Freddie Mercury

Haven't really listened to anything from Mr. Mercury to agree or disagree.

Dude...I'm about as big a Hip Hop head as there is on this site. But, I highly recommend going back and listening to the Queen/Freddie Mercury catalog!
Besides... This....
Came from This
@night_thrasher: Fair enough, I can give it a whirl :D
Both suck.
