Why are they pulling a Judge Dredd on Master Chief?

I don't know why everyone is so desperate to see what he looks like, read the books, it gives a pretty good description of what he looks like.

He's 6'10 without armour, slightly over 7 in the armour. And yes, he was described as being pale white in Halo: The Flood due to all his time spent in the armour.
