I'm looking for songs that have an epic sound, like some crazy final battle is about to begin or maybe some superpowered beings are gonna start tearing into each other. Any genre is fine.
Here's some I was thinking of

Gun totin' Nugent's "Stranglehold" has a great driving bass line which builds anticipation for the guitar solos. It all feels like something's definitely going down.
Another good one is "Green Grass and High Tides" by the Outlaws.
Other notables are:
Of course, there are the classics, too:
Lots of build-up to this one. More of a underdog versus tyrant/last stand type of feel to it.
Dark and personal fight between rivals, as the title suggests.
Final triumphant charge into battle
Just as the title suggests: untouchable.
Approaching battalion of enemy/vastly superior troops. The badasses are coming.
And ye picks out of other kinds of music:
@space_coyote: Search Audiomachine in YouTube. Literally all their songs have an epic feel to them. They're so good that movies such as Avatar have used their scores
@unbreakable_fs4: Cool, thanks I will.
And thanks everybody for the suggestions.
@space_coyote: You're welcome.
I don't know if it's the well done Rocky sample for the beat, or the fact that this was the last stuff B.I.G. ever recorded and he murdered it, but Victory has always had an epic finale like feel for me.
@space_coyote: Go to YouTube and just type in "epic music." You'll thank me later. Lol
"Planet Hell" by Nightwish
"All Nightmare Long" by Metallica
"Welcome Home" by Coheed and Cambria
"No World For Tomorrow" by Coheed and Cambria
"Vox Poluli" by 30 Seconds to Mars (that's a really good one)
"Right In" by Skrillex
"Bring Me to Life" by Evanescence
Gamma ray - leaving hell
Falconer - Clarion call
*brofist*
... I listen to a lot of music like this. Old thread, but I'll share for anybody interested in this kind of stuff. In general, I'd recommend looking up the bands / composers / sources and listening to other things by them. Some of them start slow and build, others begin on an epic note. I love all of these.
(some of these are from OSTs... so I recommend not reading the comments if you want to avoid spoilers)
If you want more, I have more.
@jedixman: definitely, I've been looking for new music to keep my going when I run.
