@Icarusflies: Thanks! I have nothing to do with his alleged cuteness; he thinks he's King of all Cute but I know better! I should have named him the Decepti-Cat, but it sounds like a Transformer name. Ha! He will get neutered in a couple of days so he may not be so cute nor like me for awhile. However it has to be done. Like Bob Barker used to say, "Get your cat or dog spayed or neutered". @ComicMan24: Thanks my friend!

@Vortex13: You have quite the menagerie of animals! @TheSheepHerder: Ha Ha! That is funny. Actually I was lucky to get him to sit still for a few seconds. He was busy eating and grooming himself, and I finally got him to look up as I called him and snapped the pic with the webcam. He can get serious especially when he's in attack mode and wants to play. Which is virtually all the time! I think should have called him Batroc the Leaper. It is something he likes to do. That and getting in the laundry basket whenever he can. :)

@Decept-O:We had one of the cats neutered recently, and yeah I can assure you that for a a while your cat won't be very fond of you lol But it will be ok later.

@ComicMan24: ha! Understandable. Good job on getting your cat fixed. So many strays in the world, certainly doesn't help to have so many running around wreaking havoc. Yeah, I can imagine he may not be too fond of me but I know it will be for the best. I think I'd not be too happy if I had my nads "taken care of" as well.

I have one amazing dog - she's literally my best friend. Her name is Buffy and she is 12 years old, so she's no young pup. She's a laboradoodle (however the hell you spell it).

@Decept-O:That too but we were also kinda forced into neutering it. It was in heat like every two weeks. The screamings were insufferable after a while lol

@ComicMan24: I feel for you! Max has been sitting on top of my chair and "yowls", like an alley cat. He does this a few times and will also yowl when he's running around playing. I can tell he's at the point where having him fixed will be the right thing, even if he's an indoor cat.

@ComicMan24: Ha Ha! Yeah, you're absolutely right. It takes patience to own a cat, especially one that hasn't been fixed. He's still a lot of fun but I DO look forward to having him calm down!

@ComicMan24: Thanks for the advice! I never owned a male cat before, so yeah, appreciate the tips. I did have a female cat a long time ago but she was already spayed when she was given to me. He's a lot of fun, though, even with him "feeling his oats". Thanks again.

@Decept-O:The one we neutered now was female but we also have a male that we neutered a few months back. Not much of a difference I must say.

@ComicMan24: So the male didn't seem to be affected too much? I am basing my comment off observations of one of my brothers and his ex. They had several cats, and the male of the bunch did seem to calm down after he got neutered. He seemed to sleep a lot more! I think it affects each one differently. All I know is that I won't have to worry about him adding to the stray population in any way so that is worth it all.

@Decept-O:Well our male wasn't that active before the neutering, we got to him early unlike the female. The female did clam down a lot after it, fortunately for everyone in the house lol You do have a point, yeah.

@ComicMan24: It is kind of funny, though, how cats can be. The brother I am talking about, he lives in a rural area, and he and his wife already had 2 cats when they were married. Now they have seemed to have adopted a few strays who've have more or less adopted them! They don't mind, though, because they help keep down the mice where they live. However, they DID have a couple of litters the last few years and they finally put a stop to that issue. There are even some wild dogs in their area as well. I don't necessarily mean like the African type or anything, but strays that are actually feral. So yeah, getting pets neutered unless you purposely want extra animals is the right thing to do. Just to add, yeah, having a female cat in heat is annoying as hell.

@Decept-O:

Definitely neuter pets especially if you have pets of both genders, you don't want to find some kittens one day in your house. Of course it is annoying, we are lucky any neighbours didn't call the police with all that noise lol
