And it's called "Charlotte". It's created by the company "Key" who also made "Angel Beats". The main character is Yu Otosaka, a young man who gains the ability to temporarily control the bodies of others. He is soon found out by other youngsters who also have abnormal abilities and is inducted into their school for gifted youngsters (yes, this does sound like X-Men).
Anyway, the first episode debuted on July 4th, so it's a perfect jumping on point. the episode was pretty hilarious (and that's saying somethings, as I tend to gravitate away from humor anime) and Yu is a great character, he's almost like if Light Yagami and Lelouch Vi Britannia fused together and decided to use their power for fun instead of world conquest.
Anyway, I say check the series out, it's available on Hulu and Crunchyroll for free as well as a bunch of other sites, I'm sure.
