So I'm going to a Gay Bar (Read Op)

Awesome posts -- some real insights. I learn and learn. Love it.

I have been to a gay club before, but the thing is I'm gay and I had a freaking blast.

So? How was it like?

I've actually had a great time at one of these places before. Similar situation as yours. It's pretty much the same experience as any other bar. The bar I went to had a mix of heterosexual and homosexual people. Nice to see that beneath it all, everyone is just looking for happiness.

Good and Bad. The people were very nice and friendly. On the other hand, I got very drunk, and have a terrible hangover atm.

Most importantly- If a Gay/Bi person hits on me- how do I tell, and how do I handle it. And before you ask, yes it has happened to me before, but my mates, I felt kinda let him down harshly. And he bought two drinks before hand. :-/

Comedy is more than welcome here, but baiting and outright trolling will result in flagging.

Okay, I think we are good to go.

Dress in a way that will attract the same sex. If they hit on you accept it. If you go on a date or be offered to hook up say: I'm straight lololololol (the last part is very important). Raising peoples hopes up and then crushing them is the best way to have fun at a club.

...Then I realized how forward gay people are with sex, and how they'll hit on you just by straight grabbin your junk. And that's before their introduction. Though, maybe I shouldn't generalize.

I was going to sat that that had never happened to me... But perhaps I just never noticed..? I mean, how could you not take it as a compliment? Like you haven't played the drinking game where you all just whip it out to continue the conversation?

I find gay bars are usually lots of fun. But I usually prefer going to straight bars and I am gay. lol
