its election season in canada again (i doubt anyone actually cares), the wonderful time where we get to decide what pathetic d-bag will run our country for the next 4 years, and with all ellections the runners have decided to start doing smear campaigns instead of making valid points on why they themselves should be elected.

 

my question is, in your opinion do smear campaigns help a person running for office, or just make them come off as pathetic losers who can only sling mud and whine that they wanna be incharge

Eh, I'm in the good ol' U.S., where you pretty much HAVE to be a corrupt sleazebucket to even get on the ballot. I tend to just ignore election campaigns altogether. It really doesn't matter who we elect; the same corporations will be calling all the shots, anyways.
