Did you prefer him as Slim Shady or Eminem?
As Slim Shady he was fun and loud, often talked about killing people at times (I think). But as Eminem he was more soul and had more meaningful lyrics.

I'd say Eminem, I like his songs that have more meaning and deeper lyrics. His Slim Shady alter ego is good though if you want something funny or different. I liked Relapse, but I don't think all the strange accents were really that needed.

Perfect explanation. Either era, he's a dope lyricist. Just different.

Eminem.
He's the only good rapper their is.
Lol this post is so wrong.
I only say this because in a rap contest Eminem has dogged lil Wayne, Slim Shaddy, Mariah Carrey, Rick Ross...etc and so many other rappers in a trash talk contest.
Slim Shady

Well yeah, but I just like Eminems style of Rap better.

I hated his older stuff.
Why?
He just seemed to out of control and trying too hard to be in your face IMO, all over the place in terms of his style. Currently he's not as in your face, jst seems to put stuff out there and if people don't like it, oh well, if they do cool.
