I loved it! I like that it felt more like a classic Bond movie. Also, I'm a big fan of Daniel Craig.

I've seen it and it's the best James Bond movie by far not even Casino Royale comes close to this.

Nah, the villain wasn't as good as Bane IMO but Skyfall Craig was much cooler and better.

It was brilliant. The villain was awesome and I really liked Q. The only thing that irritated me was what happened to the dogs after the attack on Skyfall?

The Dogs either:

  • Died
  • Ran off

I enjoyed the depth of character of James Bond and his relationship with the rest, I thought they balanced the action and the characters well, neither felt like they were intruding on the other, So glad Q and Money penny are in the franchise, Also so much symbolism it was great! the dagger in the back at the end of the film, the constant balancing of the old and the new, not just a classic Bond, but an overall brilliant film, hopefully it should draw in a few Oscars.

This. For me it was better than avengers or batman.

Good movie, but I wasnt overly impressed with the villain. I will say that they did an excellent job of stylistically incorporating the old school Bond feel that Roger Moore accused the first one of lacking. Personally what appealed to me the most was Bond's injury. He didnt just get shot and recover, it plagued him throughout the film. Dont know why, but I liked that.

@Gambler: 100% I liked the realism with the shot.

I love Craig's Bond, he is my favorite one, and the one that got me into the franchise, so I will definitely see it....later this week, when I'm not broke.

I haven't decided whether or not to see it. I might.

Saw it over the weekend and I feel it was the best Bond movie yet for Craig's current run as 007.

Nah. I miss the old James Bond movies.

Great movie. But did the main villain have to be a gay German dude with to much botox.

Just got back from it, and while it was good I don't think it's anywhere near the best Bond film. The previous two Craig films are much better than Skyfall. The villain wasn't overly impressive (not a physical challenge for Bond, and the plot just seemed to work out perfectly.

So Craig is done as Bond, right? I really disliked the ending, I mean

why not have M's death actually mean something, allow the villain to survive and use it as motivation for Bond to get revenge?

I would put it below Casino Royale but above Quantum of Solace. It shows a distinct change in tone towards some of the more classic Bond elements, but not in a cheesy manner. Craig once again makes his former doubters look foolish in retrospect

In my opinion, the best Bond film so far. If you're a knowledgable of the character you'll love all the references to previous characters and films etc. I won't spoil much but I loved the way it all tied together at the end.

Hello past me. In the future you have seen the movie, and will do a dual review on it

xD

Absolutely loved it.

  • The broken Bond and the focus on this throughout the film. Acknowledgment that James Bond has to age, but it's not his body that makes him James Bond, it's his patriotism, loyalty and mindset.
  • Javier Bardem as Raoul Silva was great. One of the better Bond villains ever, IMO. Sexual intimidation attempt was hilarious.
  • The Bond-M relationship focus was something that was much needed in the franchise. Loved the mentions to his childhood too.
  • The parallels between the relationship between Bond/M and M/Silva.
  • The new Q.
  • Bernice Marlohe as Severine.

Just a damn good film.

Eve was my fave character (I won't say her last name, as it just might be a spoiler).

Not the biggest Bond fan around but this was definitely a solid action flick. Easily worth your time
