Too many tragedies befalling the world it feels so wrong. Human conscious is the worst thing God could have entitled men like this. Those poor people had no idea their lives were going to end today, what right did this malevolent asshat have... need to flip on some jazz, news has seriously been bumming me out
This kind of thing drives you deeper into yourself. You never see where homeless shelters helped 30 or 40 people in need. The good is never as prominent as the bad, thus the news only makes you more and more sad
Why do you imagine that is? I don't think crimerate has gone up since our parents were our age, or maybe even before that? I sometimes believe the media has just been inclined to expose more and more breaking coverage lately, darker news intended to put us on end and fearful. What else is on *sigh
This is pretty close to where I live. At a kids birthday party from my understanding. And this is why we conceal carry ......people are crazy.I was wondering why that particular thing did not come into play, he offed himself yet no citizen took a shot..
@turoksonofstone: Where I grew up the dude would've been taken out before his second shotI sometimes think no guns are better than guns for everyone.

I've had conversations with my own wife. "Why are you carrying a gun, we're going to a birthday party."
I said it before and I'll say it again. It's stuff like this that makes people suspicious, antisocial hermits.
of course that brings me to the second hlf of that trinket of wisdom.
.....if the price of survival's stayin' my a$$ at home, so be it!
Bad thing about that is the some (and I say some so I'm not havin anybody sink their fangs into my rear, hear?) people packin heat are just as bad as the legitimately crazy people. Get their hands on a gat and don know how t'act.
@turoksonofstone said:well, She is probably worried you'd get hurt or mistaken for a criminal by police yourself upon arriving on the scene of such an incident. I see your side of it too though.@Hawk said:You can't "legally" carry into a place that charges admission. I've had conversations with my own wife. @RavekTheConquerer: If I was there......dude would have been straight full of 18 holes, then I would have dropped the clip and put another 17 in .Sgt. Tackleberry style...
This is going to sound callous and cynical (and perhaps it is), but I don't think that such acts are indicative of some horrific trend in human immorality. There have always been twisted beings who, for whatever reason, feel the need to perpetrate seemingly random violence upon others. The only difference now is that they have the technology to do so (in the old days, if you wanted to go on a killing spree, you had to have a certain degree of strength or skill), and we have the technology to find out about it almost instantaneously.
