Six Seasons and a Movie Discussion Thread

And we are close to completing half of the holy phrase. Six Seasons and a Movie. But lets take a look at what it took to get here. What we've lost and what we've gained.

-We got Dan Harmon back.... and boy does he have his work cut out for him.

-No more racist grandpa aka Peirce.

-No more Troy and Abed in the morning. (what's all that about Gambino?)

-More Chang and John,

-We got Breaking Bad's bad ass ex cop as Community's bad ass ex cop.

How does everyone feel about this season? I think they brought Dan Harmon cus this show is heading towards the chopping block anyway.

Its a huge improvement over the previous season. And sadly, the only way I would even want six seasons and a movie now is if Donald Glover came back. It wouldn't feel right to have a full season and a movie without Troy.

Troy's exit episode imo was the absolute best episode of the series yet

Why did he leave? Does he think he's big enough to do his own thang.

Not gonna lie, i don't miss Pierce AT ALL, Mike from Breaking Bad is already streets ahead of him in terms of humor (his name is Jim, and publishers are interested!!)

As for Troy, he will be missed, but as a fan of Gambino's music, I'd rather have him making more albums than on Community tbh.

Boo on you sir. He was one of the funniest characters on the show. The only reason I don't him is is cus I heard the reason he quit and the dude needs to learn to roll with it especially if he works in the world of comedy. I like Mike, but Im happier that Chang is now accepted into the group.

Pierce never made me laugh once besides the already mentioned streets ahead comment.

I half agree with you. But I thought the episode where he OD's was pretty sad.

I love this show! But I actually preferred the way things were in season 2&3

If that was the case I thought the show would have just been cancelled. Cus from the looks of it it's always barely escaping the chopping block. I guess the fan outcry must have been big too.

Tim and Eric on Community? All we need is Zack Galifianakis to complete the set.

I love this new Koogler character. That movie trailer at the end left me wanting more.

i kind of only watched the show for donald and jeff

I just started watching Community about a month or so ago; marathon-ed through it all and am now completely caught up.

Sad that Donald left; but I love his music so I'm fine with him putting out more of that.

I didn't know this much people liked Community on this site. I have to say season 2 was probably the best.
