Could they? Alpha Flight was introduced in X-men comics, but has also had series of its own. Maybe it's a sort of Quicksilver situation, where both Marvel and FOX can use the characters. That would be nice. The current state of intellectual property law, where companies can claim ideas from originators, and the "owners" of ideas can restrict others' use of them, frustrates me to no end. It creates an artificial scarcity where competition is precluded, so mediocrity flourishes.
