I feel they should stay dead. There needs to be closure and finality when it comes to death.

They are overduing it with the bringing people back from the dead. If a character is dead and buried they probably should stay dead. Then again there can be good stories with characters returning from the dead or revelations(retcons) that they didn't actually die. I don't think there is any urgency in making this the case though. Everyone who is a comic fan these days has gotten used to it already.

I don't think they should always stay dead but I do think some characters that die should stay dead, more than what actually happens.

Yes with a but, lately the writers have been getting better with keeping dead people dead.

Examples:

-Ben Reily (minus Spider-Verse cop out)

-Jean Grey (minus teenage future thing cop out)

-Wolverine

-Peter Parker Ultimate (minus Bendis has no good ideas cop out)

Depends. Death should mean something. If someone is brought back, it has to be for a reason, and has to have a long-lasting affect on the character. I tend to resent the decision to kill a character more than the decision to bring him/her back. In general, it just reads like a publicity stunt to kill off a prominent (or semi-prominent) character.

Some should stay dead, but I don't think all of them always should. Killing iconic heroes or villains shouldn't be permanent.

Yes.. if the character dies then keep the damn character there. I always found it stupid to have a character die only to be revived again.. TF.. don't kill the character if you're just going to do that, what is this Dragon Ball Z?

It depends on the character. Like Uncle Ben and the Waynes shouldn't come back to life in the main universe.

If the storyline is good, I don't care if they come back to life. I do mind when a character's death or resurrection is written poorly. The Phoenix has had more death scenes than a Shakespearian actor. Recently Marvel brought Egghead back from the dead after 33 plus years. You would think the story would be about him getting revenge on Pym and Hawkeye for killing him. The last story with Egghead was the one where he tricked Pym into stealing the adamantium for him and caused Pym to go to jail and where Hawkeye caused his death. There is a lot of story there to work with. Instead, Egghead appears without fanfare and says he had taken something that prevented him from really dying. The story was played for slapstick jokes in Ant-Man Annual number 1. It made me wish he was dead again.

I want it but we know that can't happen. So many big name heroes would be dead now.

Can't have a hero die for good, or then you won't sell comics.

yes because it takes away the impact brought by the death of a character.

Character use to died and it was a huge deal people couldn't believe it.

Captain America, Spider-man and Batman die now and people are like: Meh give it a year he'll be back.

Wolverine died and instead of talking about his death people were just mad at how slow the artist was...
