ok deadliest fans here's what i've been running a poll about deadliest warrior matches for the week and i came up with a way to spotlight YOUR! ideas so read these rules and regulations and comment, discuss or send in your match
HOW IT WORKS_______________
okay so it goes like this you send in a match and every week i choose one and make it into a poll but if people send in matches that are equally good i'll let you guys decide which one is better guess what even if your match lost the poll i might put it in another week! everybody wins EVERYBODY WINS!!
RULES
okay listen your submission must:
A.be a match between to warriors that have not been shown and CANNOT be similiar to other warriors featured on the show
B.try to not do fantasy matches

AAGH WHAT HAPPENED TO UNDERLINE!
OPTIONS
okay guys this is the part where you can gain some brownie points here are the things you can do to make it less work on me (note you don't have to do any of these things but it would help)
A.include weapons basically list the weapons for those warriors
b. give me a bio tell me some of these guys stats basically
c.tell me about them maybe not everyone knows who/what he/she/the group is so please tell us about them
d. have fuunnn!!!(a.k.a don't rip-off other peoples matches)

Leonidas vs achilies(troy)

I say achilies

#11 Edited by _Cain_ (23596 posts) - - Show Bio
@FALLENprophet: perfect just perfect i might consider that already the only problem would be figuring out they're weapons
#12 Posted by FALLENprophet (6557 posts) - - Show Bio
@shadowknight666
well leonidas was a spartan so you got that from the show, just take into factor he was better than the average spartan, and achilies hmm look if you can find what weaponry the Achaeans used.
#13 Posted by _Cain_ (23596 posts) - - Show Bio
@FALLENprophet: good idea i will i'm nominating your idea immediately now i got to see if to factor in achilles immortality or make him like he was in the troy movie

Theodore Roosevelt (Broad Sword and Shield) vs Julius Ceasar (Lance/Spear)

#23 Posted by Bearded Justice (751 posts) - - Show Bio

I'm not up to date on all the episodes so sorry if either of these warriors is similar to something that's already been done

Wellington's Riflemen (Napolean era  early 1800's) vs. Lee's Confederate Infantry (American Civil War mid 1800's)

Wellington's Riflemen equipment
long range: Baker rifle
melee: sword bayonet (which is just a long bayonet) or sabre
short range: single shot black pistol (usually just for officers however)

Lee's Infantry equipment
long range: Enfield rifled musket
melee: bayonet or sabre (usually for officers)
short range: Navy .44 revolver or Lemat revolver (usually for officers)

Hugh de Payens (first leader of the knight templars vs.
amako Tsunehisa (famous samurai and leader of the amako clan)

maybe I post some more weapons if I do some more research

weapons templars
double-edged broadsword
a lance of ash wood some 13 feet (4 metres) long
a kite or triangular shield
templar armor
they have manny horse even a warhorse called destrier

Templar Tactics

Templar Knights would form up in an eschielle or squadron prior to battle. Warriors were not allowed to join other units. They would often sing psalms before charging into battle. Their most effective tactic was a furious mounted charge - contemporary eyewitnesses, both Muslim and Christian, were impressed and terrified by the fearsome Templar charge.

Guiot de Provins, a 13th century French poet, wrote;

‘The Templars are most doughty men . . . It is the Order of Knighthood. They are in great honour in Syria; the Turks fear them greatly, they are like a castle or wall against them; they will never flee in battle.’

Due to their tremendous fanaticism and the fact that the other elements of the Christian armies in which they fought did not always support their suicidally brave assaults, Templar casualties were very high.
