Wait, let me get my popcorn first before seeing someone blame the victim here. The cop is definitely innocent and totally not a racist for fearing for his life from the black guy that was running away. He did what he had to do to save his life so its totally self-defense.

You can't prove he wasn't running away to get a miniature cruise missile launcher with heat seeking guidance systems to shoot the SC Policeman and or his family and or friends and or people he was sworn in to protect and or someones property and or possibly use it on himself. Arguably, in a way, a real, technically possible way… because of physics, therefore facts, the policeman saved the life of the soon to be armed man, by shooting him. You are just seeing the glass as half empty, when its actually half full. I mean… if he was really truly innocent he wouldn't have ran away right? And even without pursuing, why wasn't one shot to a non-vital organ or a limb an option? Do they not have tasers?

It wouldn't even work. He was fired, arrested, and is pending a murder charge. The commissioner of that police unit said he was disgusted and sickened, and couldn't even watch the video more than once.

Resisting arrest doesn't give a cop the right to act as judge, jury, and executioner. The only situation (in some states) in which a cop has the right to shoot a fleeing suspect is if there's adequate reason to believe that suspect is an immediate threat to others. That clearly isn't the case here.

It's a good thing we (finally) have video proof. That pig planted a taser by the mans body, and was probably working on his "I felt my life was in danger" excuse as he did it.

Did anyone else see the old looney tunes cartoons where Porky Pig was a police officer? Was that a coincidence or on purpose?

I always try to be open to new evidence that will shed a different light on an issue, but I can't imagine any evidence that the officer could present that would keep him from being put away for a long time.

I think that video of him walking back, picking up the taser, and walking over to the downed man and placing it next to him will really be something not many can argue against, that's some sneaky and messed up sh**.
