Sarah Palin should be President

1. She's an unbending conservative that is committed to cutting taxes, shrinking the government, and eliminating some regulations

2. She's an military hawk that has threatened Iran with sharp language. She has shot an elk at 400 yards so she can back up those threats.

3. She's an oil drilling advocate that wants to produce more domestic energy and buy less overseas.

4. She has the respect of other governors and is well liked by the state legislature.

5. She's hot

6. She identifies herself with the working class rather than wealthy candidates and other presidents.

7. She advocates for the disabled.

8. Being first female president will bring massive changes to how Oval Office is handled and how foreign leaders view the United States.

9. As a foe of liberal media, she might boost conservative bloggers and center-right media like Fox News to mainstream level media

10. She would spark a whole new fashion sense in the nation with Carhartt and Cabela's.

Honestly, I always have a hard time deciding who is dumber between Sarah Palin and Michele Bachmann.

Why don't we ban gay marriage while were at it.

Palin has been trashed unfairly by the media to the point that everyone thinks she is an imbicile. My coworker was trashing her one day, and I finally asked why he thought she was so stupid to which he replied, "She said she would be good on foreign relations because she could see Russia from her home." I thought that was weird, so I looked it up and found it was a line from an SNL skit.

That seems to be the way most people view her. She's a joke not because people have ever considered her or even know what she actually believes or has said but because they've seen endless mockery of her and they just take that as truth. It's a hatchet job. I'm sure some genuinely dislike her for her positions, but she's basically mainstream conservative and deserves no more mockery than other mainstream conservatives.

I'm not a big fan of her because she's not Libertarian enough or my taste and she showed remarkable bad judgment in not knowing how to deal with left wing hatchetry, but I would vote for her over most of the likely Presidential candidates for many of the reasons stated in OP.

She missed that elk like ten times. It never moved and she finally dropped it.
