Is this some kind of joke? Asking us to think about sad endings and then BAM! The sad ending is really the ending of your post because there isn't any text in the spoiler reveal. Nicely played sir.
EDIT: Never mind. Also, OP just nailed it. That or the movie with the dude from Twilight and Pierce Brosnan. Can't remember the name but the whole movie almost pushes you to drink and then the end just ruins your week.
@catriona_knightfall: I has stuck with me for years lol
@swagger462: It wouldn't let me block the video without it getting deleted so I said f*** it. Do you mean Remember Me? Never saw it since it looked unappealing.
@darthaznable: I don't know if I've ever been so angered or emotionally distressed by the ending of a movie, tbh
@darthaznable: Yeah, that's the one. I watched it with my girlfriend. Which meant I to pretended it was lame while she balled her eyes out. Haha
Also, while I'm here. I know it's not a movie, but Sons of Anarchy S6 E1. I am not ashamed to admit that I shed a tear at the end of that episode.
Old Boy
That ending was just wtf.

Best twist ending ever.
Toy Story 3
If you grew up with Toy Story, you know what I'm talking about.
:'(
And this:
The Mist seems much more f%cked up than sad. What was with that Smash Mouth song? Jesus.
Lmao never realized somone dubbed that in. Fixed. I think killing your kid and the group of survives just to realized you didn't have to is pretty sad.
@darthaznable: Oh? That wasn't part of it? Thank the gods. And yeah, I suppose. I just got more of a "oh sh%t! That's f%cked up" kind of reaction as opposed to a bawling my eyes out with sadness sort of reaction.
Darkman.
Darkman had a sad ending? There was a sequel though.
@darthaznable: For some reason when I played the video in the OP All Star by Smash Mouth kicked in when the military showed up. Wut?! XD
@darthaznable: Oh wait, nevermind I get it now.
Dead Poet's Society is pretty sad.
What's that movie where these guys are at boarding school, the kid pushes his friend off a tree and he breaks his leg...then dies later from an infection. It was a book that got turned into a movie . Idk why but it reminded me of Dead Poet's Society
Edit: Nvm just remembered. A Separate Peace
Her. Omigosh, Her. Her was one of those movies where you just feel empty and stare at the screen for like an hour. It was an emotional rollercoaster that eventually just plummets and never comes back up.
Have you seen The Road? It's a little bit like that too in terms of the whole movie just being...sad
@darthaznable: I did see The Road but I didn't like it. Unlike Her which had moments of humor and whimsy before it hits you in the stomach with emptiness and despair, movies like The Road, Winter's Bone, and Joe lacked the mercurial aspect that made Her more impactful. They were sad, miserable, bleak drudgery from start to finish, not really entertaining, just depressing as f***.
@joygirl: Yeah my girlfriend couldn't sit through the whole movie. Just about cried. I might check Her out though. Does it have any note worthy actors/actresses in it or is it mostly unknown people?
@darthaznable: Joaquin Phoenix, Scarlett Johannson's voice, Amy Adams, Chris Pratt, and a cameo by Olivia Wilde.
@joygirl: That guy who was the king in Gladiator?! I'm in.
@darthaznable: Yup, him. ^_^
@darthaznable: -_-
Emperor =/= King.
