For me DBZ ended with Frieza. Everything after was just.... Meh. Super Saiyan was the rare, once every 5000 years phenomenon. Then after the Frieza Saga it apparently became genetic.

@princearagorn1: Thanks I have kept up with the show for years but never read a word of the manga. So if this is true. Thinking back my comments was stupid. Because goten and trunks where born super saiyans is that correct. I was always not very clear on that. Because they (trunks and goten) said it just happened while training. Or they where born very close to the super saiyan level or cap for agruement sake.

There have been rumors like this since right after GT ended in the 90s. Look up Dragon Ball AF if you guys get the chance. Or Hoshi.

I hope this is true, like many other posters here Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z was a huge part of my childhood and ever since I have gotten older I have always really really wanted Akira to make new episodes, or a new series after DBZ (Not DBGT but his own take on what should have happened after Z) but im really hoping this is true, I love dragon ball so much.

Yeah, Kid Buu is probably pretty comparably to him. Remember Skinny Buu/ Evil Buu manhandled Fat Buu as well. This is something I have always wondered about and never came to a conclusion as to who I think is superior, because Kid Buu and Evil buu both appeared to be superior to fat buu and since kid buu is the original buu and evil buu is all the evil within fat buu but expelled and in a physical form I always assumed they would be similar in terms of strength. Kid buu is maniacal and well...acts like a kid and evil buu seemed to be more contained in a way and slightly more intelligent but he also appeared to not play around and preferred to just dominate his opponent, I think it would be great if those forms of buu could somehow fight, anybody got any ideas as to who is more powerful?

Seriously, that's a bit too much. I wouldn't mind another saga following Battle of the Gods, but it shouldn't be that long.

No there is not going to be more episodes. The only thing Akira has worked on lately was battle of gods and his other manga that ties into dragonball which is jako the galactic patrolman, which looks very boring... I think if he Akira decides to make any more dbz it will only be movies. He is too much of a lazy writer because be absolutely hates to ink. He was forced into making dbz. Then forced again after Frieza and then again after cell... The reason he named it dragonball "Z" was because he was tryin to put a point out there saying this is the end, hence the letter z is the end of the alphabet...

I honestly wish he would write more but he does not want to. It's a shame. I love dragonball altogether, but I dislike Akira toriyama

I still wonder how he didn't killed bulma accidentally while they are having sex..

Well kid buu could regenerate and this one couldn't so based off that I'm going to guess kid.

So, I'm just gonna guess and say this rumor bottomed out?

Well kid buu could regenerate and this one couldn't so based off that I'm going to guess kid.

I have heard that before but I have never been 100% sure , I mean for the short time he was on screen/panel he never had to regenerate, and since Fat Buu, Super Buu, and Kid Buu can I always assumed Evil Buu could too.

You do realize that the "z" was only added in the anime you know to differentiate the original dragon ball from z the manga itself is just dragonball the "z" was just meant to show that this was part 2 (like naruto and naruto shippuden)

So looks like it was just a rumor. Even so.. nothing will change. They'll only give statements of power, no feats, new super saiyan forms, more omgpowerlevel calcs, more thread spam and flames and locks.

Even so, looking forward to it if true. Shows aren't made for battle forums, they are made to enjoy.

If they do this right based on previously established canon, not go all wonky with it like DBGT did, it could be really good.

Super Saiyan God Goku should of course be on top.

Mystic Gohan should be second as he was clearly declared the strongest of them all at that point, only losing to Buu through trickery while he was making Buu slowly suffer (the only reason Goku could defeat Hirudegarn where Gohan and Gotenks couldn't was Goku possessed the combat skill Gohan and Gotenks lacked, despite their superior power, and was able to use it to pinpoint Hirudegarn's weakness)

SS3 Gotenks should be next in line as Goku specifically said the kids fused were stronger than he was, but Old Kai still put Mystic Gohan above them.

SS2 Vegeta is tricky to place, because while he was said to have surpassed SS3 Goku in Battle of the Gods, we don't know if he also surpassed Gotenks and Mystic Gohan or if he just faired better against Bills than they did again due to combat skill, not power.

Next up is SS3 Goku for obvious reasons.

Then it should be Buu.

Everyone else is too weak to keep up and needs an upgrade.

This won't happen because Akira is a lazy bum who was never ready for the amount of success dbz gained and can barely remember anything about the franchise

@primedirective: but then you have Beerus only mentioning goku and vegeta as the only two who could become a danger in the future (doesn't mention gohan nor gotenks)

Thats why i think he should sell all rights to someone else. But i don't think anybody else can make dbz as good as original manga.

@dbzk1999: True... I have no doubt that any future Dragon Ball series would essentially just be the Goku & Vegeta Beat-Up the Universe Show. Still, I'd love to see the other heroes of Earth get a chance too.
