Obama's re-election means the end of hope and change in America.  Americans need a leader that is fresh and brings fresh ideas to the table. Obama can't fix the economy.

Based on the popular vote and the corresponding result in the electoral college, it would seem that Obama should have won.

The sad thing for Romney is that 3,000,000 registered Republicans didn't vote in the election. If he had received their votes he would have won the popular vote by 180,000.

The fact that he didnt only proves that he wasnt popular, even within his own demographic. Its like saying if that kid in highschool who sat alone had friends he would have been popular.

I'm not agreeing with the TC and saying Romney should have won. I think Romney and the Republican party's actions during the primaries alienated a lot of registered Republicans and caused them to sit at home. Actually I wouldn't be surprised if those 3,000,000 were Ron Paul supporters that got ticked during the primaries.

Thank you

A lot of my Republican FB friends said that they were not going to vote BECAUSE they felt that they were going to get screwed regardless. Democrats weren't the only ones who were frustrated by Romney, and that's why those 3,000,000 people stayed they a$$e$ HOME

Romney and Obama have mutual respect from what I can gather. If Obama is that bad of a politician I'm sure an "intelligent" politician like Romney would think of Obama as an idiot.

So fourth, anyone who spires Obama as a complete moron is also insulting Romney's sanity on the matter.

Anyways, no Romney shouldn't of won. Abraham Lincoln is a much better president than he'll ever be.

@thveej: Faith as in Religion? If so, Church and State have been separate for quite a long time in America.
@TheCannon: Abraham Lincoln is gonna do a better job than Romney ever could. Don't be silly.

This shouldn't even be a discussion. She should be president. I am sooo disappointed in you guys. So, so very disappointed.

I think Roseanne had around 15,000 votes in California and fished 5th out of 8 candidates.

lol Hey, if she gotta pick and choose, I say let her pick and choose. That's the issue with political parties nowadays. They offer me Pepsi, Sprite, Coca Cola, or Cream Soda, when I really just wanna suicide.

@_Punk_: :( you didn't get what I was referring to.... it was a fox news joke.

Side note, you're obviously correct about the separation of church and state, but just for some laughs, some of the questions asked during debates/campaign about religion and god sounded like the rhetoric I used to hear in the Islamic Republic of Iran from delusional mullahs....... just saying.

This thread is hilarious... almost as funny as all of Fox News, Rush Limbaugh, Newt Gingrich, Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, Steve Forbes, Dick Morris, and the other GOP tools predicting Romney would win big. I still cant stop laughing. It must really hurt when you run at full speed into a wall of reality.

Anyway Obama deserved to win if not for being the more competent candidate but for the sheer support he received despite a weak economy.
