Why not? Bale has done comedies before.

I've never seen Bale do a purely comedic role. He's a method actor who is incredibly serious about his work.

The idea of Bale being Batman is pretty funny.

I love how people often forgets American Psycho is a Comedy.

@deathpoolthet1000: American Psycho is a black comedy perhaps. Straight comedy and dark, psychological satire are two different things. Bale doesn't do straight comedy e.g. 22 Jump Street, American Pie etc they are pure comedies. American Psycho has a lot of layers to it.

This should have been the end credits scene in Iron Man 3.

Christian Bale would be pissed if he read this post. American Psycho is not mindless comedy like Hangover or 21 Jump street, Night at the Roxbury. It's a psychological thriller that's also satirical with dark comedy. In no way, can you place this movie in the comedy section next "Coming to America" and "Doctor Dolittle".

The guy that scream where is she? with his Batman in a mall to some guy that was looking for her girlfriend.

People seriously gets to believe Christian Bale is some type of nutjob in his personal life because he is a hardcore actor.

He doesnt take himself as seriously as people want to believe he does.

Also the whole scene would end with all being RDJ being a jerk to Bale and play around.

Just to make fun of social perception of both of them.
