- Who's a better rapper?
- Who's more overrated?
- Who would win in a rap beef?
Rick Ross vs. Lil Wayne
Wayne in his prime was actually a good rapper and artist, and would stomp all over Ross.
To answer the OP....
1. Wayne
2. Ross
3. Wayne.

*sigh* Here we go with the Wayne hate.
Rise Above it, lol. Guarantee Wayne does, if the salty n*ggas make him cry, he'll blow his nose on Benjamin's eye.
Wayne in his prime WAS a good rapper. Some of the lines he spit were pure genius, and his punch lines were actually good back then....and so was his word-play.
Besides that, several reputable artist, and critics alike has praised Wayne when he was at his best.
Sure he was never as good as Jay-Z or Nas-- but he was a good rapper. Current Wayne on the other hand? Meh. Hit or miss.
@dccomicsrule2011: What is your opinion about Kanye?
@dbvse7: Lyrically he isn't anything special from a technical standpoint--but Kanye substitiues that with decent word-play, and amusing puns.
All in all, Kanye is a great artist....at least in my opinion.
@dccomicsrule2011: Yea I know why you mean. Back in the day Kanye was my favorite rapper though
@dbvse7: Ricky Ross has some good songs. I like when he is featured with Kanye. Check out Devil In A New Dress and Sanctified. His verses where amazing. Wayne on the other hand just never seems to cut it with me. Like I can just chill to Ross but Weezy is more of the party song type imo.
@marvel_boy2241: Yep Rick Ross has potential but doesn't really show it.
I can only handle him at parties.
@ms__omega: unless you've been locked away in captivity for the last decade or you simply never listen to the radio or watch tv, you should at least know who they are..
