Rest In Peace, Dusty Rhodes.

Virgil " The American Dream Dusty Rhodes" Runnels has reportedly passed away today at the age of 69. My condolences to the Runnels family, and this is just a big loss for the wrestling community.He was a simple man, a fantastic wrestler, and easily one of the most charismatic entertainers to have ever graced the squared circle. Thank you for the memories and legacy you left for future wrestlers to learn from. Rest in peace, Dusty. You earned it.

While I did not know the man, I wish all is good with his family.

May his soul rest in peace.

Rhodes sure was a pioneer of professional wrestling and he will be solely missed by his family members (Dustin, Cody, Terri), friends, and not just WWE fans, but pro wrestling fans. Thanks for everything, Dusty and Rest In Peace.

Wow this is sad news. I saw him on raw and he looked unwell so I could see it coming a bit. He was my dad's favourite wrestler and I loved his wcw commentary.

Wow! This sucks.

Dusty Rhodes was one of the greatest pro wrestlers of all time. His interviews were legendary and his feud with Ric Flair and the Four Horsemen is one of the best. He was a charismatic performer who when he went to the WWE (then WWF) was forced to wear polka dots as an inside joke to make him pay for working for the competition. But he was just so good, he got the gimmick over. He was also a great booker (the guy who plans what happens in the ring) and planned some of the greatest angles in wrestling.

He will be missed.
