Dixicrat was the Democrats of the the south while Democrats where the of the north. They saying was Dixicrats where opposed to catigorizing people like blacks and whites and separation of their public usage like the famous Bus insident that blacks ride on the back of the bus while whites ride in the front. Black restrooms/white restrooms....
Malcom was trying to let minorities know that dixicrat and and democrat are the same thing and that they contradict their values and ideas. While the dexicrat was trying to gain votes from a minority, they were actually voting for the democrats because their principals are the same, but one of them were saying something different just to get the minorities to vote for them.
