Republican or Democrat?
With all the politics these days I was just curious and wanted to see if there were more republicans or more democrats on comicvine.

Neither. I can't bring myself to be loyal to either party at this point.
Yeah. I really dont like politics but I was just curious.
Don't really care. I think everyone should be independent with their own unique views and ways of using the government instead of limiting it to a couple types of government.
I'll be bold and say I'm a conservative.
I know the media portrays conservatives as the devil, but the last thing a conservative wants is to cause WW3.
well, I'm only 14. So I'm obviously heavily influenced at my age. However I think I'm a conservative. Not too much into politics though. The way I see it, the best presidents of recent, or pretty recent, times have mainly been conservative. Calvin Coolidge and Reagan come to mind. Of course, there have been some bad presidents who were conservative as well. However, recently alot of medicre or bad presidents have been liberal, like Obama or Carter.
Rant done, again I'm only 14 so what I'm saying is influenced by my parents.

Coolidge was in office more than eighty years ago. I'm not really sure that qualifies as recent.

true
but he had ideals similar to modern conservatives ideals, like having smaller government involvement
republicrat?
or:
get rid of both and establish a new government without all the lobbys...a government that really does what the people want...and doesn´t lie to them..and isn´t controlled by military/CIA...one that really fights for freedom and not oil/ressources...one that wants to make the world a better place...one that cares about the environment so our children have a place to live in...one that isn´t made of greedy politicians who only think about their own money in case they don´t get elected again...etc etc etc...
just a dream

That would be great, but it's probably ultimately just going to be a dream.
Of the two, however, I would choose Democrat.
I consider myself a moderate republican. Conservative on national defense, economics, right to bear arms. I am more moderate on social issues.
I hate all politicians. They're to focused on being politicians, getting elected, and gaining power. If there was a party that never went out for any publicity because they were too busy working to make the country better, then I'd vote for them.
I tend to agree more with Republicans.
I consider myself a Progressive which means I am not completely loyal to the Democrat party, but I vote mainly on those lines.

That's easy lol, Democrats outnumber Republicans on here by a big margin. You can tell by the political topics being made here daily.
But yeah, I used to be Independent but definitely more Republican/middle on a most topics.

I'm conservative. Not Republican.
So you're more classic Conservative Republican, like me. I was an I for many years but just saw myself agreeing more with conservatives, then liberals. And I absolutely hate the media as they're beyond biased. I hear ya though, a lot of Republicans aren't conservative theyr'e too moderate on many issues and not true Conservatives like Ryan.

I think that's a pretty good stance. I personally think that Republicans are better for dealing with economic issues while Democrats are better with social issues. The best presidential candidate would be someone like that - conservative with economic issues and liberal with social issues.
@_Black:
You think two parties are broken? In Italy there's like almost a hundred parties there (including past ones). Anybody with new idea immediately makes a party.

That doesn't do anything to refute my statement. Maybe I was suggesting that was too many parties, that they spend more time butting heads than actually legislating, that the black and white misconception of the two parties relates an inability to compromise and to share similar views, etc. I really don't see why we need parties. Too many people vote along their party lines than actually learning about what that particular candidate believes in.
@_Black I totally agree with you here!!! I post this all the time on Facebook, the two party system is broken and flawed and has taken our country to its limits. Instead of voting for a good honest candidate who is willing AND ABLE to make the changes we need, citizens throw away their vote based strictly on whether or not he's a democrat or republican with out weighing their options ( not like they have many to begin with ) and now were in a major slump riddled with debt, no jobs, outsourcing, finger pointing, and mud slinging tactics instead of focusing on reall issues

I agree.
Put frankly I can't see why anyone would agree on current republicans on a single thing. People saying both parties are corrupt are using some serious false equivalency nonsense. There is a significantly more guilty party.
Republicans:
want tax breaks for richest americans
want tax hikes on middle class
want to lower minimum wage
want to decrease spending on education substantially
and increase spending on the military, and subsidies for the corporations that least deserve or need them
support racist bills like sb1070 despite immigrants, illegal or not, boosting the economy
want to roll back women's rights
want to keep discriminating against gay people
want to keep gun control at an absolute minimum
want to repeal healthcare reform
are demonizing intelligence itself, trying to revise history and science
and in some cases trying to erase the separation of church and state
are trying to win the election with racist voter suppression laws
and massively sabotaged our economy just to make obama look worse
and straight up propaganda masquerading as news
can anyone please tell me why anyone would vote for these scumbags? they're like supervillains! and there's not one issue they're right about, morally or factually. frankly anyone saying republicans have a better grasp on economics have no idea what they're talking about.
