Today this blog features the robot awesomeness of Cubix: Robots for Everyone.
Cubix Robots for Everyone is a South Korean animated television series created by Cinepix, licensed by 4Kids Entertainment and aired for two seasons during the Kids' WB run during 2001 to 2003; later re-broadcasted on FoxBox from 2003 to 2005.
Cubix, set in the year 2044, is the story of a bright-eyed young boy named Connor with a deep fascination for robots. He lives in the robot center of the world, Bubble Town, location of the RobixCorp headquarters. In this town, robots even outnumber people. The reason for RobixCorp's success is the EPU (Emotional Processing Unit), allowing robots to develop their own unique personality, just like a human being. Connor discovers a secret project from an esteemed scientist named Cubix, a machine with an amazing design to reconfigure and transform into virtually anything. Though his talent and thoughts projected into Cubix’s EPU, he is brought back to life. Now Connor and Cubix,join their friends in defeating the evil Dr. K and his menacing experiments from ruling the world of Robots and learning the whereabouts of Cubix’s original creator.
Fun Fact: Many voice actors from this show also worked on the show, Pokemon.
