Reinventing a villain: TOAD

If there is a villain off my mind that was  kinda   thought  lame but  could re imagined into a complete modernized bad ass from marvel I say toad for me. Toad was my only favorite character in the whole x men world just because I am fan of any villain who has an reptilian or amphibian them so toad was one of them.  Toad is hard for finding him in a main role because most often he was just a henchmen/supporting character 90 percent of the time so my question is or what I am saying is this. Can toad get a one shot for the first time then  a mini series to  possibly explore his origins to the extreme where it feels like spider man's gauntlet series which revamped spider man's more classic villains?  
 

maybe, a Toad Origins one-shot would be great, give the lesser known characters some love
and RIP Toad's Finger (the one blasted off by a Sentinel, along with Sack)

I really like the look of Ultimate Toad, he looked more amphibian, i dont like the whole pudgey jester outfit he wore...
he was a hilarious character in X-Men Evolution
