I found an interesting video, a hale bale is efficiently able to offer some cheap improvised barricade in a warfare situation, and I figured out that if you make them wet, they get tougher.
In terms of logistics, they are cheaper to mobilize, because they are not that heavy, very impressive and a very essential thing to know.
