Simple, rate 1-5. I mainly am talking about CURRENT players, but I reckon you could post past players as well.

1 - Horrible, why is this guy even a pro?

2 - He sucks, expect him to be traded a lot.

3 - Good player, he helps with the teams success. Not quite a HOF contender.

4 - Great player, he could be a MVP, and help take his team to the Super Bowl, possibly a HOF contender.

5 - Amazing player. His number will be retired and he is headed to the HOF without a doubt.

I'm going to start off with my teams top dawg:

Aaron Rodgers, QB for Green Bay Packers

#2 Edited by dccomicsrule2011 (25198 posts) - - Show Bio

5,He is Aaron Rodgers......he is Aaron f*cking Rodgers

Tom Brady.

#3 Edited by BiteMe-Fanboy (7901 posts) - - Show Bio

5. Without a doubt. 2000-2010 will always be remembered as the Patriots era.

Clay Matthews

#4 Edited by Perethorn (3402 posts) - - Show Bio

4. For me.

Troy Polamalu

#5 Posted by BiteMe-Fanboy (7901 posts) - - Show Bio

4. He is def. going to the HOF and Steelers HOF.

Matt Ryan

#6 Posted by PowerHerc (84383 posts) - - Show Bio

3 - Matt has a lot of potential but considering the position he plays he got to do a lot more before he rates above a three.

How about . . J.J. Watt?

J.J. Watt - War Cry!
J.J. Watt sacking Andrew Luck

#7 Edited by dccomicsrule2011 (25198 posts) - - Show Bio

Hmmm I would rate Watt a 4 for now but he certinly has potential to be a 5 and maybe even the G.O.A.T Defensive End.

Ray Lewis

#8 Edited by Perethorn (3402 posts) - - Show Bio

Lewis is a 5 no doubt about that

Adrian Peterson

#9 Posted by PowerHerc (84383 posts) - - Show Bio

5 - I think he's an A-hole but there is absolutely no question he's one of the all-time greats.

How about . . . Ndamukong Suh?

#10 Posted by dccomicsrule2011 (25198 posts) - - Show Bio

Hmm I'm gonna say 3 Suh has to put in more years to be considered an 5 or 4 imo,not to mention last year was not a good year for a player of his caliber

Drew Brees

#11 Posted by PowerHerc (84383 posts) - - Show Bio

4 or 5 - Brees has already had a great career and, barring injury, will continue to have a great career.

How about . . . Rob Gronkowski?

#12 Posted by Pfcoolio14 (1139 posts) - - Show Bio

3

Adrian Peterson

#13 Posted by PowerHerc (84383 posts) - - Show Bio

4

Andrew Luck

#14 Posted by dccomicsrule2011 (25198 posts) - - Show Bio

3 for now, although by time his career ends he will probably be a 4 or 5

Tony Romo

#15 Posted by King Saturn (224286 posts) - - Show Bio

3 for Tony Romo

Calvin Johnson WR Lions

#16 Edited by PowerHerc (84383 posts) - - Show Bio

4 - Calvin Johnson might end up a 5 but to do so he would have to do even more for the Lions and I don't know if that's even possible.

How about . . . Jared Allen?

#17 Edited by dccomicsrule2011 (25198 posts) - - Show Bio

Hmmm 4

Joe Flacco

#18 Posted by SpideyIvyDaredevilFan26 (6503 posts) - - Show Bio

Hmmm 4

Joe Flacco

2.5. He's one of the worst players on that squad, but that's not saying much

My man Josh Freeman...GO BUCS!!

#19 Edited by PowerHerc (84383 posts) - - Show Bio

3 - Flacco has proven calm under pressure and does have one Super Bowl win but he's going to have to do a lot more to become a HoF candidate.

How about . . . Ely Manning?

#20 Edited by dccomicsrule2011 (25198 posts) - - Show Bio

Hmm I going to say a 4 Eli is a 2 time Superbowl champion and MVP,not to mention he held the title "4th Quarter King"

Cam Newton

#21 Posted by PowerHerc (84383 posts) - - Show Bio

3 - Newton could climb to 4 or maybe 5 if he stays healthy and gets some help. He's got all the tools.

How about . . . Charles Woodson?

#22 Posted by Cybrilious4 (1766 posts) - - Show Bio

3

Aaron hernandez?

#23 Edited by dccomicsrule2011 (25198 posts) - - Show Bio

@cybrilious4:

Aaron hernandez?

Your trying to be funny aren't you? =O Anyway when he played he was probably a 3

Darrel Revis

#24 Edited by PowerHerc (84383 posts) - - Show Bio

4 - He's pretty close to being a shut-down CB.

How about . . . Justin Smith?

#25 Edited by Cybrilious4 (1766 posts) - - Show Bio

@dccomicsrule2011: There were too many 3-4 on here and somebody had to post a (1) player

#26 Edited by Cybrilious4 (1766 posts) - - Show Bio

Darrel Revis (3)

Justin Smith (2)

Greg Jennings?

#27 Edited by Stevens61310 (183 posts) - - Show Bio

Just barely a 3. I'm not so sure that his success didn't come from being on the Packers with Rodgers throwing to him. If he is more than a 3 he will prove it being on the Vikings having Ponder throw to him

Matt Forte

MY BOY TAZ.

I'm sorry, I don't actually watch NFL. I just wanted to put some humor in here. Tell me when there's an NBA thread like this though.

3.5. A little overrated but still a damn good player.

Brian Dawkins. I hate the goddamn Philadelphia Eagles with a mighty passion, but Brian Dawkins is one of my all-time favorite players

#36 Posted by dccomicsrule2011 (25198 posts) - - Show Bio

4,Dawkins was a pure beast in his prime.

Demarcus Ware

#37 Edited by SpideyIvyDaredevilFan26 (6503 posts) - - Show Bio
