Random question, but couldn't we just blow up a tornado?

Launch a missile in the interior of a tornado funnel, detonate a big and powerful explosion, thus disrupting the wind patterns to form the tornado?

I'm no meteorologist so if you think this is a dumb idea. Just coming up with random theories......and really bored right now.

Because most tornados that are threats are in populated areas? Plus, I think (not know) that it takes time to aim a missile and tornados come out of no where . I think you've been reading to many funny books!

1. you need to predict where a tornado appears and predicting where that funnel lands is a very tricky and once it touches down, collateral damage is unavoidable.

2. the firepower needed to destroy a tornado funnel would be very high considering you need to create enough force to break up winds reaching 300 miles per hour.

3. you might destroy the tornado funnel but the storm cell producing it can still produce a lot more of it. tackling such storms has been proven useless because of its size. i remember an article of a navy force bombarding a cyclone's eye to dissipate. it didn't work.

Dude, missiles are too expensive to shoot at natures patterns that destroy homes and lives and kill innocent people. We need those things to shoot at the brown peop....I mean, instill fea...wait, I mean we need them to use against our enemies.
