homosexuality is naturally bad and useless and being black is naturally good.
Are you serious? I've seen you say some messed up things but this one is right up there.
I've said it before and its true.

So you've doubled down on being wrong. Cool.
Radical liberals are worse.
Haven't you heard, gay pride is racist
To be fair, it does seem like homosexual people get more attention and acceptance than black people despite the fact that homosexuality is naturally bad and useless and being black is naturally good.

"The beginning of the end"
"They want to turn us against God"
"God is going to make it rain fire among Earth"
-_- Why do we allow people like this on the internet? People are really losing their heads over this gay marriage and other stuff. This is a free country and the beliefs and religions of OTHERS should respected. Christians are not above anybody and most of you are just hypocrites anyway because no sin is greater than the other.
I'm not surprised this isn't locked, the mods our the true hypocrites. When ever someone makes a positive Christian thread it gets locked because we have a "religion thread". The truth is the mods have bias against that religion and favor hate towards it. I don't say much because I'm not religious but it's really obvious.
I really do not understand how can anyone believe that Bible is one true word of the God, and still think these scenarios are completely unrealistic:
"The beginning of the end"
"They want to turn us against God"
"God is going to make it rain fire among Earth"
God gave his laws to the his chosen people, one of which was mandatory stoning of gay people,
"You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination. (NKJ, Leviticus 18:22)
If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them. (NKJ, Leviticus 20:13)"
and the punishment for not following these orders was something like this:
"14But if ye will not hearken unto me, and will not do all these commandments;
23And if ye will not be reformed by me by these things, but will walk contrary unto me;
24Then will I also walk contrary unto you, and will punish you yet seven times for your sins.
27And if ye will not for all this hearken unto me, but walk contrary unto me;
29And ye shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall ye eat.
38And ye shall perish among the heathen, and the land of your enemies shall eat you up."... and so on, you get the picture.
I understand that God gave these orders to the Israelites and not necessarily to all the people in the world, but still, I think this should be enough to give us some ideas about God's nature, about what he thinks about gay people, and about what he might do with a nation that loves and supports gay people and their life style.

Oooooooooooooohhhh.
Yeah, not really. Both Renchamp and JXM are very religious, IIRC. Can't really speak on the rest though.

Why would God punish america or the world for gay marriage? Did he miss when America commited genocide against Native Americans or enslaved African Americans? Or when the world let anyone get divorced for any reason? Did he miss the rampant fornication and adultery that his Christians and non-christians commit everyday. Or the greed. The lying? What's completely unrealistic is that people think all these other sins shouldn't bring god's wrath but giving gays rights should
@dccomicsrule2011: Renchamp is Mormon and that's not Christian and JXM I have no idea but he seems to not care as much about locking these type of threads anyway.
Actually, you're a pretty active member so I know you don't think their isn't truth to what I'm saying.

I agree, it doesn't make any sense regardless of how we flip it.

Mormons are Christians. Taken from their official website:
Mormons, for all the other things that set us apart, believe first and foremost that Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer. We believe that through Him, all mankind may enjoy eternal life with their families in Heavenly Father’s kingdom (John 3:16)

Ehh.
I'm sick of hearing about this gay marriage shit already.
You and me both

Except Jesus does not stand contrary to God's word but Mormons do with their theories of becoming gods and such.

Yep. This thread which is antagonistic towards Christians in the OP lives while a simple thread trying to discuss the book of Job was locked. To be fair to the Mods, seventy-five percent of the comments in the Job thread were antagonistic comments from atheists, so that no doubt sent up a lot of red flags. I suppose if Christians were more antagonistic to these types of threads, they'd be locked more quickly.
Moral of the story? Christians should be less tolerant.

That kind of goes against you, actually. The majority of users are U.S. based which consists of 87% religious people, yet only two of the Mods are religious? Last time I checked, there were about between ten to twenty mods, so that's about ten to twenty percent?
Obviously, non-religious people can still be fair, but it would not be hard for even unintentional bias to rear it's ugly head.
@somayareece: It is true that, in God's eyes, all sins are horrible and deserving of death. However, that does not mean we on earth should tolerate the sins of others.
Homosexual relationships are sinful. They were sinful 1000 years ago, and they will be sinful 1000 years from now.
@pooty: oh OK that proves you know what you're talking about and that you didn't use Google to get to the site. I see!
I knew Mormons were Christians from having discussions with them. But i'm sure you wouldn't take my word so I showed you their official site. I presented their own words... using their own website to show you. If you still insist that they are not Christians then, you know more about their religion then they do.
Christians saying the "radical Left" is annoying clearly haven't read their fairy tale book yet.
Doesn't get anymore Radical that the Socialist Haysus.
this gay marriage thing baffles me since Jesus CLEARLY said that we are all his children and that we shouldn't treat anyone differently, not even leprosy victims.
I like how Christians always forgot all the positives Jesus said and they latch onto the hateful parts of the Bible.
Christians really do sicken me.
I'm sorry you struggle with bigotry against Christians. I hope that you can find a love in your heart for mankind, even those with views different than your own.
I certainly agree that Christians should treat everyone kindly, but can you specify the scriptures where Jesus said everyone is his child and that everyone should be treated in the same way? I don't know of such passages.

Really? I didn't know that about them.
I know some churches allow gay marriage. Gays can get married there. Also, they can get married at Town Hall. So go get married at the many places that will marry you. Don't expect everyone to be happy.
To people opposed to gay marriage. You lost. Get over it. If what they are doing is wrong then God or fate will punish them.

But if Christians try to live the life that Jesus wants them too and preach that it's the way, then why would you fault them for that? Also if you're an American, the political system can be changed by the people. Public opinion has made a case for the time to change the laws. If this was 2010 when "Obama still didn't approve gay marriage" then this doesn't change.
@batwatch: And behold, a woman in the city who was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at the table in the Pharisee’s house, brought an alabaster flask of fragrant oil, 38 and stood at His feet behind Him weeping; and she began to wash His feet with her tears, and wiped them with the hair of her head; and she kissed His feet and anointed them with the fragrant oil. 39 Now when the Pharisee who had invited Him saw this, he spoke to himself, saying, “This Man, if He were a prophet, would know who and what manner of woman this is who is touching Him, for she is a sinner.” 40 And Jesus answered and said to him, “Simon, I have something to say to you.” So he said, “Teacher, say it.” 41 “There was a certain creditor who had two debtors. One owed five hundred denarii, and the other fifty. 42 And when they had nothing with which to repay, he freely forgave them both. Tell Me, therefore, which of them will love him more?” 43 Simon answered and said, “I suppose the one whom he forgave more.” And He said to him, “You have rightly judged.” 44 Then He turned to the woman and said to Simon, “Do you see this woman? I entered your house; you gave Me no water for My feet, but she has washed My feet with her tears and wiped them with the hair of her head. 45 You gave Me no kiss, but this woman has not ceased to kiss My feet since the time I came in. 46 You did not anoint My head with oil, but this woman has anointed My feet with fragrant oil. 47 Therefore I say to you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. But to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little.” 48 Then He said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.
Jesus clearly states that he welcomes those who follow his words. If a gay wants to get married in a church, Jesus doesn't mind. Jesus also said that "you are all my children if you follow God."
And I don't hate anybody, I certainly don't hate Christians since my mom's entire family is Christian, even my great uncle is a pastor. I just hate bigotry--if your Bible says gays are bad, let God decide to toss them in hell in the after life.
But, while people live, let them enjoy their life.

Hypocrite much, I've seen you time again make up things or post things you don't understand, here agin forgeting that many gays are christian.
Or those Charleston victims, did they latch on to the evil parts as well?
I can't speak for all gays or Christians but you sicken me.

Barack Obama was pro-gay marriage in 1996, he just didn't think it was popular to run on.
Once again, I don't have a problem with Christians practicing what they preach--I don't think anyone should associate with someone they don't wish to. If you're a Christian and you don't think gay marriage is cool you don't have to ban gay marriage--you just don't have to take part of one or go to one.
We "radical liberals" aren't saying everyone should be gay or go to gay weddings--we're saying let people be happy. If Jim makes Bob happy, that's Jim and Bob's business. If god doesn't like it, that's between them and God.
