-_- Why do we allow people like this on the internet? People are really losing their heads over this gay marriage and other stuff. This is a free country and the beliefs and religions of OTHERS should respected. Christians are not above anybody and most of you are just hypocrites anyway because no sin is greater than the other.

You brought up religion in this topic so you're one of those "people". In Identity politics or political ideology one group picks another group as the villain. Why should people stay "in the closet" on their ideology? Politics is hypocrisy, the best part about it is our representatives our trying to play both sides. They represent themselves as supporters of both sides, while you take to the internet to tell a group of people to shut up. It doesn't make you brave, considering there would be no ramifications for you to pick the "good side". It's not like you're screaming your beliefs on the topic and this is the 60s. You live in a time where anybody can slam relgion and at the same time tell them what to believe in. Lazy hypocrisy.

Radical Christians didn't just now get ridiculous. Every radical religious person going back thousands of years has been ridiculous. Its just that for the most part you only notice them when there is some hot button topic they can use to grandstand with and make themselves feel important by taking a stance for or against. They then usually act offended by other people complaining about their obnoxiousness or narrow mindedness and say how persecuted they are. That is just the way of things.

@somayareece: not every christian believes it is wrong, yes im sure some who dont agree with gay marriage also sin... i dont really know what that has to do with anything. thats like the same as saying you cant say isis is bad because you speed on the highway sometimes. also the bible does say that the only sin you cant be forgiven of is doubting the existence of the holy ghost so yeah i guess some sins are worse than others. also its common sense that killing is worse than stealing. and it does say you shouldnt lay with another man and respect thy mother and father so i guess they have their reasoning and according to your logic of everyones beliefs should be respected you shouldnt be questioning it. but i already see you have backtracked on that statement saying i dont respect people who dont respect themselves which i dont even really know what that means

Yeah it is ridiculous the constitution is not a bible and it doesn't revolve around everyone's religious beliefs. There are other religions that have strong beliefs that are against the constitution, why should gay marriage be any different. Also people have the right to disagree, just because someone has to obey a law doesn't mean they have to agree with it. Also most of those people are completely in affected by gay marriage and lots of people including Christians who are also unaffected would agree with gay marriage as well.

If the end is coming then maybe those people should kill themselves so they won't see the end. Problem solved.
