why is Marijuana illegal?It's not a Drug,It's a plant that if you burn it,it has side-effects.while cigarettes are made with rat poison.

Both marijuana and cigarettes have bad side-effects, yet people continue to smoke 'em anyway.That's something I'd like answered.
