Quad Cores on Phones 2012?

I heard and researched it, by the end of 2011 and the beggining of 2012 they're gonna be available to us thanks to the kal-el chipset from tegra and many other companies are already designing their own.. 
 
Currently right now i owned that 2010 Android the Mytouch 3G Slide , I will consider waiting for the upcoming mighty phone that "Samsung Hercules" 
 or reconsider waiting for a quad core phone 
 
What do ya'll guys think?

My contract is up in January, so I'm probably going to get the best of whatever is available then.
