Punk Rock Appreciation Thread
@judasnixon: thanks for letting me know about this; it sounds incredibly interesting actually with both of these being subjects.
@Kal'smahboi: yeah its not dead frankly to a certain extent its very good we still have bad religion making albums we also have anti flag keeping punk relevant and lots of small local bands liking im starting one and were hoping to have an album done over the summer note im 14 so dont say its just old peope
@inferiorego: i wish skaters were more into punk also that more kids my age were into punk makes it kinda hard to start a band when the only other kid in ur school who likes punk is ur best freind and no one else

Punk is dead and has been dead for a decade, but maybe that's just the old curmudgeon inside of me.
@ragdollpurps: Oh my god! Those cupcake are so F-ing awesome! Even though I would never eat a cupcake with circle jerk written on it.......
I Loooooooove Hot Water Music. I was so excited when they got back together and put out a new album. Southern Punk Rock Lives on.......
this is a song about 16 year olds girls giving carnis head for free rides and hits of pot.
BK was an amazing band!!
I'm not a huge fan of punk rock..and I'm not even sure if this IS punk rock, but I like Sleater-Kinney
@the_stegman: Fact... I used to have a crush on Carrie Brownstein.

....LOL, true.
@the_stegman: Hell yes, Sleater Kinney is aces.
I've seen this cats open up for Against Me! twice once in Milwaukee, and then in Baton Rouge.....
@violens: Man do you remember when the Dwarves was experimenting with Hip-Hop? Holy crap that was awful.....
@judasnixon: i know the dwarves went from psychedelic to punk. i have not listened to any hip hop era dwarves. i can imagine it would be very awful.... :) mucho amount of band line up changes. ... even had the drummer from KMFDM for awhile.. and Nick Oliveri.
I saw this cats yesterday at French Quarter Fest. Oh god I had so much fun....... So much fun.
@biteme_fanboy: Ever heard of Lucero? Best use of country sound in a punk band I've ever heard.
@kal_smahboi: Lucero is good, but I like Chuck Ragan, Sarah Blackwood and Tim Barry a little more......
@judasnixon: I actually don't know much about them, but have a couple of friends that are into them. Love Ragan's stuff, btw.
