@rouflex: Sure, Makishima is more like an anti-hero. Like dexter. He tries to bring down the corrupt government. He does this by starting riots all over town. But the thing he likes most is torturing, and sees it as some kind of art. So when he isn't destroying the government, he's torturing people.
Ozaki is a doctor, when there is a vampire outbreak, he refuses to believe they exist. He gets frustrated when almost everyone in his hospital dies. He eventually mentally breaks down, and when he suspects his wife turned into a vampire, he does experiments on her to find the weakness of vampires. He exposes her to sunlight, And lets her slowly die that way. He's kinda like a crazy doctor.
