I onnly seen the original and the one from a year ago. Not much of a fan but my friend loves those movies. It was fun to attend the con.

I loved the original "Planet of the Apes" movies and TV show when I was a kid.

I had some of the Planet of the Apes Mego toys, too

Loved the original moves and the new movie was great. Never saw the t.v. though.

It wasn't much of one, It only had 14 episodes, I don't remember much about it other than All humans could talk.

Loved the originals. Wanted to check out what Cornelius was sporting was sporting under that green and leather uniform (okay, so I would likely have been disappointed and totally turned off because he was more chimp than man, but I was a little kid, what did I know about simian anatomy then?).

I just managed to get the five original Ape films for $2 each. I also loved the Rise of the Planet of the Apes....the Tim Burton one was okay.

Caesar was Cornelius' son though they were both portrayed by the same actor.

Now I'm confused I thought Caesar is the ape that unifies humans and apes. But in Rise he stages a revolt agaisnt the humans. But then there is another revolt from another ape movie in the 70s.....arrgghhhh my brains!

@Xcalibur: ceasar IS the ape the unifies the apes and humans in BATTLE FOR THE PLANET OF THE APES after a failed coup by the gorilla leader aldo who wants the simians to be the ultimate race on post-nuclear earth. RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES is not canon to the original apes saga
