Which do you prefer? And why?
Pixar or Dreamworks?
..... hmmmmm. Pixar has put out more movies and most are great but some of my favorite movies come from Dreamworks. Can't decide.
Is this a serious question? Pixar by far!
That's a lazy attack on Dreamworks 3/10. Im not saying you Jake Im saying whoever created that atrocity
DreamWorks has How to train your Dragon, they win with that alone.
@saint_wildcard: Well they certainly put a spin on it to line up with their views, but none of it is inherently incorrect.

But it's a poor adaptation of the source material that middle-school me loved! T_T

It's not incorrect cus it's so generic. It's like if they attacked superhero movies by saying "There are these good guys that fight this bad guy". Also their line about animals that do things other animals don't is hypocritical cus they mention Ratatouille.

Right, like I said, they spun it to match their opinion. I know there is more to those movies than just "animals doing things animals don't do," and yes, they are being hypocrites with Ratatouille. Describing Ratatouille's plot does not make it any less "animals doing things animals don't do" than any of the Dreamworks movies. However, Ratatouille did have humans in it, and it wasn't just a movie where the only beings are animals and they're society resembles our own. But then you could bring up Finding Nemo or A Bug's Life for Pixar examples of that very thing.
I posted the picture because I agree with their point that Pixar movies seem to have much more creativity involved than your average Dreamworks production. Them putting a positive spin on it and coming off as hypocrites doesn't negate that overall point.
I know, my point was that it was just lazy :P

This I agree with. After seeing some of the pics for Dreamworks movies I realized how many of them were meh.

Fair enough. It totes is.

Yeah, Dreamworks' small handful of stand out films does not make up for the abundance of mediocrity they've churned out over the years, nor does it do anything against Pixar's unmatched consistency of quality. At least in my opinion.
